(941)286-0889 THIS VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN PROFESSIONALLY DETAILED!!! IT HAS BEEN WASHED AND WIPED DOWN WITH TURTLE WAX QUICK SHINE PRIOR TO BEING PHOTOGRAPHED. IMAGINE HOW AMAZING IT WILL LOOK WHEN YOU TAKE THE TIME TO DETAIL AT HOME! OVERVIEW Pro Street cars have always been a favorite of mine, and if you follow my auctions you know I do a TON of them! This amazing Camaro is a fully backhalved machine that has a ton of high dollar goodies and a freshly installed 350 V8 with enough guts to have fun on the strip with ease of maintenance and reliability to make it a every day cruiser too! Please review the DETAILED DESCRIPTION and information provided below, and look through the 100 LARGE PHOTOS I have provided. If you have questions, or would like to arrange a private showing, please call me at 941-286-0889. THIS IS NOT A CONSIGNMENT CAR! I have the clean and clear title in hand, and the car is ready for immediate sale, delivery, and ownership. FOR VEHICLE FINANCING, APPLY ONLINE AT: WWW.JJBEST.COM CONDITION REPORT This is one bad little 1969 Camaro, and it snaps heads like a chicken farmer when you roll it down the road! The first thing to grab you is the incredible finish on the car! It is PPG Lime Green, and it is the PERFECT base color for the incredible airbrushed graphics by the one and only Niland! The paint is glossy, slick, and wet looking, and I have supplied photos of the car in direct sunlight, as well as the shade, so that you see how awesome it looks! The lower rockers and rear lower pan have some marks and chips from being so close to the ground, but so far as the actual exterior finish you can see when standing beside the car, there are less than a handful or so truly minor blemishes. One is a little tiny ding about 6mm diameter on the passenger rear quarter in the graphics, and the other two on the front lower chin spoiler and are less than 4mm in size. Other than these marks, and the usual light marks found on ANYTHING from normal use, the car shows amazingly well and is ready to take to a car show as it sits! Yes, it does show some little bits of rubber from the tires hooking up on the rear lower roll pan area. As I stated, we have NOT detailed the car, and I am pretty sure these will just wipe off with a little elbow grease when you do detail it. The hood, rear spoiler, and trunk are fiberglass, but thanks to garage storage and careful installation and adjustment, are NOT warped and have wonderful gaps and fit. Hood is installed with stock hinges and front latch which all work as they should. Trunk is installed via a series of DZUS Fasteners which are all in perfect working order. Spoiler is factory style and has no issues. The rest of the car is all 100% real steel, and it is in exceptional condition! The gaps, fit, and finish on the car rival most of the high-dollar “restored” cars you see for sale, and you can run a 4”x4” felt covered magnet over the entire exterior and it will stick like glue! There are no bondo, patch, chicken wire, or beer can panels on the car, and the lines are clean and straight from front to back! All the typical Camaro problem spots are issue free on this machine, like the cowl panel, front dog-legs, upper rear quarters where they meet the roof line, and the rear panel behind the back window. If this was a regular plain 1969 Camaro the “restoration sellers” would call it ‘mint’ and ‘perfect’. I choose to call it a VERY nice, real metal machine without any signs of rot, and no sneaky fixes. The only bodywork that is evident is from where the back half in the rear section of the car was done, and it has been done cleanly, neatly, professionally, and with an eye towards quality fit and finish as well. All of the glass on the car is in very good condition, with no cracks, chips, divots, or big scratches. Side and rear windows have been tinted and look good that way. Window trim and weather stripping looks great, and shows to be relatively new. Chrome trim on the car is in above average condition, with small, light blemishes if anything to be found. Emblems, grill, light surrounds, trim, etc. all look very good on the car, and there is certainly nothing that you would need to replace to show the car on a local, regional, or National level. The wheels on the car are like new, and are show polished WELD S71’s up front, and WELD AlumaStars in the back. Tires are Mickey Thompson SPORTSMAN out back, and are HUGE 33”x21.5 x15 street slicks, while the fronts are WIDE TRACK 165R16 radials. All are in very good condition, with no patches or plugs. The overall presentation of the exterior is a very solid 9 out 10, and other than the few little normal use marks and items I mentioned, looks like a freshly completed 110 mile car should look! Inside, the car has a completely finished interior with a relatively stock look to it, and shows wonderfully from every angle. Door panels were original to the car, and show very well, with just light markings to be found from normal use over the past 46 years. Trim on the panels is in great condition, as are the stock door pulls and window rollers. Carpeting was fresh to the build, and is OEM style banded material over sound deadening. It still shows like new, and has mats in the front to protect it. The entire rear section of the car has been custom paneled and finished for an OEM style look with the backhalved portion of the car. The work is super clean, and it shows as fresh as it is. The 12-point full roll cage on the car ties into the frame and is NHRA SPORTSMAN Certified according to the decal on it. It is installed as cleanly and unobtrusively as possible, and looks fantastic in the car. Side bars are NOT included, but if you get them, they would pop right in. Driver side upper roll bar has welded buckles for a side safety net installed in case you want to add one down the road. The front upper bar of the roll cage has the control box for the QUICKSINCGPS unit which controls the speedometer/odometer and provides about as accurate a reading as you can ask for! The Camaro has a full factory headliner with side panels and pillar covers, and it all looks great! The clean center console was derived from a MUSTANG GT and it fits and looks fantastic in the car! Not only does it allow for some storage under the padded armrest portion, but it also houses the redundant set of mechanical gauges for OIL PRESSURE, TEMP, and BATTERY in the clean front portion which is covered to match the rear material. The lid has some light marks from use, but it is still fully functional. PROCAR seats by SCAT have fore and aft adjustability, and are in like-new condition with no rips, tears, or damage. They are equipped with racing certified seat belts for driver and passenger. The Pro-Series Ratchet shifter is pre-wired for a line-lock, and the shifter itself works perfectly and looks mechanical and mean in the car. Glovebox opens to show the MSD box and associated wiring for easy access to it. Ashtray has a 12V outlet inside it, but no ashtray anymore. Dash is clean and neat, and looks great, and has a custom gauge segment which houses the new electric OMEGA KUSTOM INSTRUMENT gauge package. These gauges are vintage looking, but as hi-tech as you can get and provide stunningly accurate readings for FUEL, VOLT, TEMP, OIL PRESSURE, and of course SPEEDO/ODOMETER. Up on the cowl, an ACCUTECH Sportsman fuel pressure gauge lets you know what pressure you’re pushing at a quick glance. All of the gauges are backlit and light up accordingly with no issues. A GRANT GT steering wheel tops a late model GM column and looks fantastic. It also has a wiper/signal arm, but the car is NOT equipped with windshield wipers, only a RAIN-X treated windshield. ALL OF THE LIGHTS WORK ON THE CAR. The column mounted signal arm works the turn signals front and rear, and the hazard switch works the hazard lights. The signal arm also works the high beams. The chassis on the car is a complete pro-built unit with fit, finish, welds, and craftsmanship that are top-notch throughout. Liberal use of components from both Alston Chassisworks and S&W Racecars insures that the ride, handling, tracking, and sturdiness of the car is the best it can be. An MWE DANA 60 10-bolt rear is fitted with LPW Ultimate 60 cover and LPW AXLE TUBE BRACING KIT for bulletproof reliability. It is currently packed with 3.73 gears for a great combination of streetability and fun. Adjustable coil overs are fit to the PRO SERIES welded rear frame package, including 4-link, shock/spring kit, and more. 4-wheel disc brakes are adjusted perfectly and pull the car down from speed without any excess fade, wander, pulling, or modulation. Front suspension consists of new A-Arms, disc brakes, spindles, springs, shocks, and hardware. GM power steering has been added to make it easy to steer for everyone in the house. Roll cage ties into frame through the firewall upfront, and surrounds the fuel cell in back. Welds are sublime, and the whole cage is a total pro build. Firewall is custom fabricated for the car, and looks so much nicer than the typical piece of sheetmetal you usually see. Open the trunk, and you see a fresh rubber seal around the lip. Inside, the custom aluminum tubs are cleanly and professionally installed on each side of the 16 gallon racing fuel cell with vent, safety foam, AN fittings, rollover vent, and sump to alleviate fuel starvation. Battery is hard mounted to the chassis and has HD lines running to the rear valence panel safety shut-off key on the back of the car. Exhaust system is custom routed under the car and up and over the rear axle area. It sounds really good, with a throaty rumble that turns heads, but won’t offend too many of your neighbors. Floor pans on the uncut portion of the car look great, and are solid metal with pinch weld marks still evident on the rockers. This was a clean, running and driving 1969 Camaro Sunday car cruise machine before the decision was made to turn it into the street crawling beast you see today! The engine on this car is a GM 4-bolt main 350ci motor bored .30 over from Phoenix, and is estimated to have 425hp. I did NOT build the motor nor the car, so I am passing the info I got when I purchased it along to you. I have NOT dyno tested the car, but from 18 years spent on, around, and in classic cars, I can tell you by seat of the pants feel that somewhere north of 400hp feels about right. It is currently set up for street driving, with a 750cfm HOLLEY feeding the engine premium unleaded fuel when you hit the gas. The motor is clean, neat, and the installation, wiring, and lines associated with it have all been cleanly installed. BLOCK NUMBER IS GM 3970010, and there are no pad numbers evident. It is dressed with just enough chrome, polished aluminum, and billet to make it stand out on cruise night, and cursory look at the photos will show you that only the best parts and components were installed on the car. The massive aluminum racing radiator combined with the custom fabbed aluminum shroud and giant mechanical fan all work together to keep this car running SUPER cool, no matter what! I have driven the car about 18 miles, and got stuck on US41 in rush hour traffic for 40 minutes and the car NEVER creeped higher than 198 degrees. Normally it sticks around 190 as verified by both the mechanical and electrical gauges and a temp gun. Transmission cooler is installed in a large open air environment as well, and keeps the GM Turbo 400 automatic cool regardless of if you are on the freeway or at the dragstrip. A 3500 rpm stall converter is installed, and the car has a mild shift kit to make walking the line between cruising and racing a little easier on the neck. The car starts with a twist of the key, idles cleanly right from the start, and is ready to roll whenever you are. Power is clean and crisp, with nice throttle response and feel from the pedal. Jump on it, and it hooks up and heads wherever you have it pointed in a BIG hurry. The previous owner never took the car to the strip, so I don’t have any time slips to share, but when you sit in the seat and hit the gas, there is no doubt that it is one quick little car! Swap some stouter gears and top it off with some racing fuel and you could have a lot of fun at your local bracket night! It cruises on the street SUPER nice, and is perfectly capable doing 70mph on the road or idling in beach traffic at 5mph. Handling is solid and sure, and other than the massive rear tires catching the road crown once in a while, it can be driven with one arm out the window and one finger on the wheel without much complaint. You can cruise this car and use it like a daily driver, or throw it up on a lift and detail out the chassis and make it a full-on show car! Tweak the chassis settings, add some race fuel and different gears, and make it full race car if you want. That is the best thing about it…. It kind of can do it all, and for just the price of ONE car! VIN DECODES AS A 1969 CAMARO 2DR HARDTOP V8 BUILT IN NORWOOD. IT IS TITLED AS A 1969 CAMARO. ODOMETER IS EXEMPT, AND MILEAGE STATED IS WHAT IS SHOWING ON THE FUNCTIONAL ODOMETER. I think that about does it so far as information I can supply to you.
