1969 Corvette 427 Coupe – Rebuild as 496 stroker with Tremic 5 speed, Vintage Air AC, PS, PB, PW – 3134 miles since rebuild History: This car is one of “610” coupe’s that were made for Canadian Export in 1969. The car was built in January 69 and shipped on January 29th to Acme Garage Ltd. in Acme, Alberta. This car has the 427 CID 390 HP 4bbl Turbo Jet V8. Original build sheet pictured. This Vehicle underwent a complete restoration in 1993 at a cost of $32,000 by Deltech Automotive of Calgary and was appraised post restoration at $38,000 by Starburst Auto appraising of Alberta – appraisal attached. The car was restored to factory original condition, but the color was changed to Black, Side Pipes were added, and interior was changed to Black Leather. In 2008 The engine was rebuild as a 496 stroker total cost of $6021, engine dyno sheet pictured, the transmission was replaced with a Keisler Tremic 5 speed OD - $3500, clutch is Center force dual friction, with scatter shield, the 3.55 rear end was rebuild by Duntov engineering, larger half shafts were added. Vintage AC system was installed with a separate Spall fan for increased cooling. MSD distributor, with a 6AL box and blaster 2 coil were added for the ignition, as well as a new engine wiring harness. Carburetor was replaced with an AED 850cfm, Headman headers were added and new side exhaust. Suspension upgraded with fiberglass mono rear spring, brakes, and power steering were all overhauled, gauges were rebuild, new BF Goodrich radial TA tires were added as well as a Custom auto sound radio with USB and mp3. New carpet with Dynamat Extreme installed, and floor matts. All new weather stripping, T-tops overhauled with new weatherstripping. Too much to list, I have receipts for everything just ask. This car has the correct block casing number of 3963512 but is a Factory Warranty Exchange CE 954770. Description: When I purchased the car the odometer had been stuck at 25,537 so I can not verify actual mileage. When the engine and drive train were rebuilt the gauges were also overhauled and the mileage was set to 0. The car has 3134 miles since rebuild; I have receipts from the engine rebuild documenting all internal parts used. At the wheels the car puts out 462 ft pds of torque and 352 hp, see chassis dyno sheet. Compression 9.5.1 just needs premium gas. The vehicle drives and stops perfectly and is a pleasure to drive. There are no leaks! Everything works including the fiber optics except for the wiper washer pump, this was removed to make room for the new MSD distributor, but the wipers and other vacuum systems work perfectly. The paint is in good condition and looks nice, however there is some cracking and some bubbling on the rear deck, see pictures. This car needs nothing to be enjoyed and driven in as is condition. Car comes with Owners manual, Assembly Manual, shop manual and any original parts, documentation and receipts that I have. Car has clear PA title. When I had the engine rebuild I wanted a lot of low end torque, but did not want a big lumpy idle. The cam that was speced and installed is actually milder than what would have come on the car in 1969 in a 427 390 hp engine. The Cam is a Comp cams Hydrolic Flat Tappet ( Extreme Energy) Part # 11-246-3
