I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a very rare 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee TSi 4x4 with just 109k miles. Between 1993 and 1998, Jeep produced a small number of special edition Grand Cherokees. The more familiar ones are the Orvis and the 5.9L Limited. The one that never really got much attention was the TSi. On the outside, the TSi's are distinguishable from their peers by the gray body cladding with purple stripe as well as the polished 16" alloys that were specific to the TSi. It is widely believed that the TSi is the rarest among the special editions, although official production numbers are hard to find. I would rate the exterior of this Grand Cherokee TSi to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a clean looking Jeep. This specific Grand Cherokee TSi is finished in Platinum, one of three available colors offered in the TSi. The finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. Although it is an older model and I'm sure you could find some imperfections if you look hard enough, there really isn't anything worth complaining about on the exterior. The paint shines nicely. There are no noteworthy scratches, scrapes or other damage. All of the body cladding shows well and is intact. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The 16" polished alloy wheels look great and give this Grand Cherokee an aggressive look. They are wrapped in a matching set of Destination's with deep tread all around. Please take your time and look at each of the photos carefully. I would rate the interior of this Grand Cherokee TSi to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show well throughout the interior. The dash is clean and the wood interior accents also show well. The drivers seat is torn in a spot or two, which is normal at this age/mileage. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The headliner is sagging at a few spots. This is also normal at this age and mileage. The power windows, locks, mirrors, seats and sunroof all work. The audio system is the original Infinity Gold Premium Sound with cassette and CD, which appears to be working properly and sounds good. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blow ICE COLD AIR, too. The cargo area is spacious and clean. The original owners books as well as two keys and two remotes are included. Mechanically, this Jeep appears to be in good running and driving condition. The optional 5.2L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are pretty good for an older Jeep. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. There is a little play in the steering, which is normal at this age/mileage, so she may be soon due for fresh bushings up front. This is a routine service item and is not costly to have done. The brakes stop this truck easily. The engine keeps perfect temperature and good oil pressure, too. There have been no idiot lights on either. The engine makes plenty of power and feels strong. You'll probably need to replace the rear muffler. It isn't terribly loud or anything but I doubt it will pass inspection if your state has inspections. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Being a V8 Grand Cherokee, she has the Quadra-Trac full time 4WD system which is tested and working properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. As with most older Jeeps, the diffs whine a little but it's nothing concerning. If you're looking for a strong older Jeep that isn't all used up and beat up, this Grand Cherokee TSi definitely deserves your consideration. You're not likely to see many of these pass you as you drive down the road. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a very rare 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee TSi 4x4 with just 109k miles. Between 1993 and 1998, Jeep produced a small number of special edition Grand Cherokees. The more familiar ones are the Orvis and the 5.9L Limited. The one that never really got much attention was the TSi. On the outside, the TSi's are distinguishable from their peers by the gray body cladding with purple stripe as well as the polished 16" alloys that were specific to the TSi. It is widely believed that the TSi is the rarest among the special editions, although official production numbers are hard to find. I would rate the exterior of this Grand Cherokee TSi to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a clean looking Jeep. This specific Grand Cherokee TSi is finished in Platinum, one of three available colors offered in the TSi. The finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. Although it is an older model and I'm sure you could find some imperfections if you look hard enough, there really isn't anything worth complaining about on the exterior. The paint shines nicely. There are no noteworthy scratches, scrapes or other damage. All of the body cladding shows well and is intact. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The 16" polished alloy wheels look great and give this Grand Cherokee an aggressive look. They are wrapped in a matching set of Destination's with deep tread all around. Please take your time and look at each of the photos carefully.
I would rate the interior of this Grand Cherokee TSi to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show well throughout the interior. The dash is clean and the wood interior accents also show well. The drivers seat is torn in a spot or two, which is normal at this age/mileage. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The headliner is sagging at a few spots. This is also normal at this age and mileage. The power windows, locks, mirrors, seats and sunroof all work. The audio system is the original Infinity Gold Premium Sound with cassette and CD, which appears to be working properly and sounds good. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blow ICE COLD AIR, too. The cargo area is spacious and clean. The original owners books as well as two keys and two remotes are included.
Mechanically, this Jeep appears to be in good running and driving condition. The optional 5.2L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are pretty good for an older Jeep. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. There is a little play in the steering, which is normal at this age/mileage, so she may be soon due for fresh bushings up front. This is a routine service item and is not costly to have done. The brakes stop this truck easily. The engine keeps perfect temperature and good oil pressure, too. There have been no idiot lights on either. The engine makes plenty of power and feels strong. You'll probably need to replace the rear muffler. It isn't terribly loud or anything but I doubt it will pass inspection if your state has inspections. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Being a V8 Grand Cherokee, she has the Quadra-Trac full time 4WD system which is tested and working properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. As with most older Jeeps, the diffs whine a little but it's nothing concerning. If you're looking for a strong older Jeep that isn't all used up and beat up, this Grand Cherokee TSi definitely deserves your consideration. You're not likely to see many of these pass you as you drive down the road. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are a PennDOT issuing agent and able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyers PennDOT offers a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $45 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance. We can issue them at our office.
