Vehicle Detail
Porsche 914-6 Conversion Race Car I am a Mechanical Engineer, Welder, and Machinist. I have two SCCA National Championships as a crew chief and I built this car. I spent 12 years building this car and raced it for about 5 years. It is a very fun car to drive with good manners on track. It is time to move on to my next project. The car was made Right Hand Drive (RHD) for road racing. Road racing tracks historically have circulated in a clockwise direction. That means more right hand turns than left hand turns. Being on the right side of the car makes the inside wheels carry more of the weight and the apex of the turns are much easier to hit. This is an unfair advantage.
