Vehicle Detail

1990 FORD F-250 4x4 Plow TruckNO RESERVE! Need a wood hauler or plow truck or farm truck that you could do a little fixing up on over the summer and have ready for the first snow? Here you go. This is rusty but trusty. THE GOOD: Decent running fuel injected 351 Windsor V8 w/ good shifting 4 speed automatic transmission. Has always started for me. 4 wheel drive works. Cruise control works. Radio works. I believe all gauges but the temp gauge work. (Does not overheat.) Has Ag. bumper. Has a matched set of tires that seem like they'd be good for a few more winters. Good heater and defrost. New spark plugs and wires. New front shackle bracket. Fresh oil and filter. Just glued the rearview mirror back on the windshield. Starts well. Doesn't smoke. Doesn't leak fluids. Dome light works. Cargo light works. Has a brake controller for towing a trailer with trailer brakes.THE BAD: Truck has typical MN rust. Floors are rusty, especially beneath driver. (common on Fords like this) Floor has been patched with flashing and self tappers. Meyer plow pump on truck needs rebuilding. (I have a working Meyer E47 pump that I would sell the winner of the auction for an additional $250) Plow is rusty but still gets the job done. Sometimes it will not turn over when you turn the key - if you start it in neutral, it always starts. Exhaust is loud--may need donuts or muffler/pipe, or just drive as is. Brakes do stop the truck well, but seem a little sticky--probably from the truck sitting a lot. Running lights turn on with the normal switch on the dash. Headlights work by flipping the toggle switch next to the normal switch. (poor man's repair job) A/C blows warm, but all A/C equipment appears to be present.Questions? Send them my way through the eBay Message System. This is a NO RESERVE auction. Please only bid on this if you have the money and are sure that you will follow through with payment at the end of the auction. A $200 deposit is due through Paypal withing 24 hours. Payment in full by cash or bank wire is due within one week. Bidders with less than a 5 feedback rating, please contact me before bidding so that I can verify your intentions. Shipping this across country would be expensive, so don't assume that having it shipped would be cheap. Remember, it's rusty but trusty. With that said, I wouldn't be afraid to take it out and work it. Could you drive it home? I wouldn't be afraid to drive it 100 or 200 miles. If you were planning a 1,000 mile trip I would probably have a mechanic go over the brakes and so forth just to be safe.
