Vehicle Detail
Fair starting price "NO RESERVE" auction, first bid or the highest bidder wins. 1964 International Harvester 1000 Series Pickup Truck. This truck sat for several weeks and started with just one turn of the key (no gas peddle needed) idled smooth and quiet, newer rebuilt engine (not sure when or how long ago) still looks new under the dust. Has all new engine parts, water pump, fuel pump, starter, carb, alternator, radiator, etc. After market under dash A/C unit (unsure if it works or not) haven't tested it yet. Exhaust from engine to back of truck all new unburned and un/rusted. GAS GAUGE "NOT WORKING" with full tank of gas and all the other gauges work as they should, as well as lights, turn signals and license plate lights. The lights and lens appear to be new and not cracked or discolored. Tail gate, both doors and hood open and close perfect. Glass is in great shape clean and clear (windshield has a very small chip and some light wiper marks) wiper arms and blades still original. Interior is 8 out of 10 condition (with the original seat needing redone and ready for new door seals). Body has nice custom work (cracking in places only in 5 small places) but still looks 8 out of 10 condition. Keep in mind, the pictures you see are without this truck being cleaned inside or out for nearly a year. Overall this is a near show quality truck and would be great for a show car beginner. I am not sure what this truck is worth to anyone out there, I do know however, I've seen worse JUNK going for more than my starting price on eBay, so lets see what happens? The truck sits like a "low rider" but I'm not sure if this is the original stock height? I drove it to my house with no hesitation in driving, stopped nice, no pulling (let go of the wheel drives straight down the road). The tires may need to be replaced but still handles nice even on the freeway. I hear a little creaking sound when turning the steering wheel, no rattling or annoying noises inside at all. Keep in mind this is a 51 year old truck, starts, runs, drives and stops as it should but could need other unseen parts replaced or repaired. I am going to start the bidding at what I think is a fair starting price and with "NO RESERVE" first bidder "or" the highest bidder wins... This truck is being sold "as is" no warranty expressed or implied, nothing in the ad is meant to deceive or mislead you in any way, bid with confidence. Thanks for your interest. Feel free to ask questions, I'll answer and post all Questions and Answers to e-Bay for other potential buyers to see (please don't ask questions with personal information include). Thank you!
