Re-listing because a foreign bidder backed out. US bidders only please! 1954 Chevrolet 3100 short box, half ton pickup truck. 235 six cylinder, 4 speed on the floor (was on the column originally). Complete truck. Needs a full restore or build as a rat rod driver. With a battery the engine starts and runs fine off of a small gas tank (pictured) and has great oil pressure on the gauge (see video below). It does not smoke or knock but the water pump drips. Will need the gas tank cleaned out. Drives and steers good but there are no brakes. Includes an old side mount spare. Good dash and gauges. Fairly straight cab. Good windshield and side windows. Vent windows are cracked, back is fogging on the edges. All of the tires hold air and the back ones are like new. Front tires have some weathering. Original heater is intact. Needs cab corners and floor work on each front side along with lower cowl areas. Also needs work in the lower door hinge areas but all of these parts are available aftermarket. Floors were patched previously with tin. Inner door bottoms have rust through. The original bed wood and metal strips are still there. Box and fenders are fairly straight and solid. The box sides are nice. Has an alternator and 12 volt conversion added at some time in the past. Open drive, 12 bolt rear axle which seems to be mounted an inch or two further forward than it should be. Brakes need work. Frame has some rust through in the back but easily fixed if you can weld or would make a great candidate for an S10 frame swap. Includes clear, matching 1954 title registered in 2015.
