1979 trans am with rebuilt 403 engine has headers, cam, aluminum intake, demon carb, deep sump oil pan, flowmaster exhaust. Turbo 350 with shift kit. I did not build the motor and can not provide more details than that. Posi rear I do not know what gears. Has subframe connectors and disc brakes all around. Runs well, fun to drive. Many new parts. Front seats redone and new door panels. New steering box, new front calipers and hoses and new master cylinder. I believe the gas tank is new. New weather stripping. I have the shaker seal and trunk seal. Car has been repainted and looks okay, definitely not perfect and something that is best to see in person. Hood really needs to be redone because it has some blistering and in my opinion worst part of car. Trunk floor appears solid. Overall the body appears solid. The bad: The car needs an alignment, center console, has dash cap but needs to be redone. The AC and heat are there but currently not functional. The windshield is cracked. The fuel gage doesn't work I believe bad sender. Power locks don't seem to work. Really needs the rear brake hose replaced (I have) never got to it. Needs rear tires. Small rust under passenger rear floor pan, I think the rest good have not really examined with a microscope. I never seem to be able to work on it and rarely drive it. It is time to sell it. If the bidding makes it to $6500 I will throw in extra parts I have which include a nice set of doors and extra t tops, otherwise not part of the deal. Reserve is reasonable, please don't ask what it is. I am trying to provide an accurate description of the car. Probably best to look at the car in person. With some more work it would be a nice driver. Please only bid if you are serious. If you win the auction I expect the deposit first and it is non refundable.
