This 1972 Porsche 914 is an excellent project vehicle, and is being offered at no reserve. Featuring a mid-engine configuration with a 4-speed manual transmission and a targa top, this is definitely a sports car. It sits very low, and definitely gives you a great driving experience. All of the electronics work on this car, even the headlights work as they should. The transmission shifts smoothly, and the clutch is strong. It looks great at first glance, but it will need some work. The passenger side rocker has rust issues that will need attention. The floors and trunks remain solid. Also, the motor locked up, but these Type 4 VW motors are plentiful, affordable, and easy to find. At one point, it was issued a rebuilt salvage title, but I have no idea when or why. There is no evidence of collision damage anywhere. The paint will also need attention, as there are several areas of bubbling, and a couple spots where the paint is flaking. Bottom line, it is a complete, hard to find, and easily repairable Porsche 914. Please feel free to ask any questions. I also have additional detailed pictures available upon request. Good luck!
