I have a 1955 Chevy 2 Ton truck with working PTO and hoist and great patina. 6400 Series, 154" wheelbase. This is a very solid truck with very little rust. The floors are solid, the windshield header has none of the typical cancer, door bottoms are good and the dash is original and unmolested and has the deluxe heater controls. It could be driven as-is or the cab corners and steps could be replaced depending on how far you want to restore the truck. The cab corners and steps are the same as the 1/2 ton truck. The d/s lower fender is good. The p/s has a little rust spot on it. I have an extra hood that is straight and solid that will go with the truck to replace the hood that is on it. It has a couple of sizable dents where it looks like someone sat on it.It has a strong running 235 and the transmission shifts freely and operates as it should. It has a 2 speed rear end that the previous owner set up to run on the high end. It runs and drives, the brakes have to be pumped a little to stop. Probably a master cylinder rebuild kit or wheel cylinder kit will take care of the issue.This would make an awesome car hauler. Add the stake sides on for a great farm truck, landscape or construction/roofing truck. It has a 13' bed.I have a clear Texas title in my name. I can help arrange delivery or transport if necessary. I also have a 1955 Chevy LCF (cab over) that I will be listing shortly. It has a flatbed on it but does not have a tilt bed. Combine the two for one really awesome car/toy hauler.
