Thank you for looking at my 1955 Olds Eighty-Eight 4 door. The interior is original with seat covers. I don’t know the condition of the seats themselves but I don’t think they’re too bad. The body of the car still has a good look to it even though there is some rust on the rear quarter on the driver’s side. The underneath of the car has a little surface rust, but it is still very solid, and so is the trunk as seen in the pictures. The engine starts and runs, sounds good for a old timer, and transmission goes into gear like it should, but it will need brake work. Over the last 30 years, this car has been stored in dry storage and was barely used. As you can see in the pictures, there is a sticker in the front of the car that it originally came from California. That’s why you’re buying such a solid car. The 79,000 miles are actual. The title is clean and with a little love and care this Oldsmobile will be a great weekend cruiser. It’s rare to find an original, un-molested car of any kind, especially one that is 60 years old. So this car was basically used when it was newer and stored for the rest of its life, just waiting for someone to like it enough to make it part of their family, put it in their garage and really enjoy it.PS: I also want to mention that the driver’s side window has cracks in it, and it’s a $40-$50 repair plus labor because it’s flat glass. There is one rear tire that goes low, but the spare tire is old, but like new and could be put on. All tires are old and should be replaced.This is a no reserve auction, which means that the person with the highest bid at the end of the auction wins the car. I am selling this car as-is without a warranty. Buyer has the opportunity to check the car out for 7 days. Or, you could have a local company come out and check it out for you. eBay also offers this service, giving a full inspection of the vehicle from bumper to bumper. I would like the car paid for within 3 days, either by cash or wire transfer. I’d also like the car picked up within 7 days from sale ending because I don’t want to be responsible for holding your car.
