This truck has been in the barn up at our Ranch in the high desert for quite some time (a true barn find). We finally decided to bring her down to L.A. to make a shop truck and she turned out way to nice so we decided to let someone else either finish her or leave her just the way she is, flat Black and Pretty. We were going to change out the engine but to our surprise with rebuilding the carb, all new fluids, new plugs, new points, fuel pump and voltage regulator….She runs GREAT, so the drive train is ALL ORIGINAL and matching numbers. We did very little body work here and there, she was very straight so not mush was needed, we didn’t block her so if the new owner wants a true show piece that would need to be done. The bed is completely original and had too many tiny dings and dents to do body work so we left her as is (see pics.), the rear fenders were reinforced where they meet the running boards and they are absolutely perfect. The wheels were custom made and powder coated for the truck over at Wheel Smith and what a great job they did. The 3 1/2” white walls are Coker Classics (brand new). The back window had a crack so we replaced it, all the other windows are original. The doors open and close great but with the new weather-stripping they’re pretty tight and will break in eventually. All the gauges are working fine and the gas gauge is brand new. The interior is complete. The bench seat is comfortable and slides as it should, and was newly covered at my interior shop last week.
