Beautifully Restored VW Single Cab Type 2. I am the third owner, and the second owner (who originally purchased the Truck in San Antonio,TX) had it in storage for 23 years in Michigan before he started Restoration. Highlights of the detail Work done on the Truck All New Brakes, Wheel Cylinders, Shoes and Master Cylinder. Front Beams are original and stock with all new parts. Transmission is rebuilt and still has Reduction Boxes. Engine has been replaced with a 1775 Dual Port with Webber Carburetors, 12 Volt System, Electric Fuel Pump. Most everything in the engine is New. Line Bored, New Engle Cam and Gear, new lightweight lifters, Reconditioned Crankshaft with Chamfered oil holes, New Heavy Duty Valve Springs and new guides, New Valves, New Rocker Shafts with Roller Tips, Heavy Duty push rods and High Volume Oil Pump. I am sure I am forgetting something, but as you can tell there has been a lot of time and Money invested to bring this up to top quality. Less than 500 easy break in miles on it since Restoration.
