Up for auction is a Rust Free 1965 Ford Mustang coupe, that originally had a 289 and a 4 speed!! The car has a Traction Lock 3.50 rear end, or POSI for all the non Ford guys. The car is very straight overall with just some surface rust in the passenger rear floor, and the lower front doors. The doors came off the other car, that is why the little bit of rust. The trunk looks great, no rust at all either. This was a desert car it's whole life. I bought the car as a parts car to restore a 65 Fastback, and this is what's left from that.... This would be an excellent parts car or a great builder! I bought the car as a parts car from a older gentleman here in Vegas who had the car for years. The car is being sold with a BILL of Sale only, as I bought it the same way. What you see is what you get with the car. I do have a 1965 A code 289 block and heads that I would sell to the winning bidder if they are interested. The motor would need to be rebuilt, and the date codes all match on the motor and heads. Door Tag Info: No Tag Info: The car is very straight overall. I do not see any signs of accident damage on the car! The frame rails are fine, torque boxes are fine, the rockers are good, and the rear frame rails are fine. The doors open and close great, body lines are good, Glass is all there, and the window trim too. Seats are there and the sliders still work fine. Overall this is a great project car. I am selling the car with no reserve, and I will take offers on the car too. The Doors/Hood/Fender came off the Fastback, that is why the color and condition variations. The Roof looks great, no dents, and the rear portion of the sheet metal on the car is excellent. Original Quarters with no bondo or filler!
