My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2004 Mercedes-Benz C240 sedan. I would rate the exterior of this C240 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking sedan. It is finished in black over gray, which is a nice color combination. The exterior of this Mercedes shows pretty well for its age. The only complaint I have about the exterior is that the hood does show a little fading from age, which is common with Mercedes' black. Overall, the finish shines nicely and shows well. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find a few scratches, scrapes and other imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with average tread. All of the glass and lenses are intact. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would also rate the interior of this C240 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The light gray interior contrasts nicely against the black exterior. The door cards are clean. The dash and headliner are clean. The carpets show well for their age. The only complaints I have about the interior are just normal age related stuff. The door pulls to the two front doors have broken and the lid to the center console is broken, as usual. The seats show a little wear, which is to be expected at this age and mileage. The power windows, locks, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The optional rear shade raises and lowers smoothly. The audio system is original and sounds good. The climate control system is fully automatic and offers independent temperature settings for the driver and passenger. The heater works effectively and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The trunk is spacious and clean. Mechanically, this Mercedes appears to be in good running and driving condition. The small V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are decent for a car of this age and mileage. The front suspension bushings feel worn and should be replaced in the very near future. This is a common wearable item that needs addressed on nearly every car at one point or another. The steering and brakes feel good. The engine runs smoothly and feels strong. Other than an airbag light, there have been no idiot lights on. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight. I've personally but the last 100+ miles on this Mercedes with no issues. Again, I'd recommend replacing the worn front end components before putting a lot of miles on this car. After that, you should be good to go. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2004 Mercedes-Benz C240 sedan. I would rate the exterior of this C240 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking sedan. It is finished in black over gray, which is a nice color combination. The exterior of this Mercedes shows pretty well for its age. The only complaint I have about the exterior is that the hood does show a little fading from age, which is common with Mercedes' black. Overall, the finish shines nicely and shows well. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find a few scratches, scrapes and other imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with average tread. All of the glass and lenses are intact. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully.
I would also rate the interior of this C240 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The light gray interior contrasts nicely against the black exterior. The door cards are clean. The dash and headliner are clean. The carpets show well for their age. The only complaints I have about the interior are just normal age related stuff. The door pulls to the two front doors have broken and the lid to the center console is broken, as usual. The seats show a little wear, which is to be expected at this age and mileage. The power windows, locks, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The optional rear shade raises and lowers smoothly. The audio system is original and sounds good. The climate control system is fully automatic and offers independent temperature settings for the driver and passenger. The heater works effectively and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The trunk is spacious and clean.
Mechanically, this Mercedes appears to be in good running and driving condition. The small V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are decent for a car of this age and mileage. The front suspension bushings feel worn and should be replaced in the very near future. This is a common wearable item that needs addressed on nearly every car at one point or another. The steering and brakes feel good. The engine runs smoothly and feels strong. Other than an airbag light, there have been no idiot lights on. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight. I've personally but the last 100+ miles on this Mercedes with no issues. Again, I'd recommend replacing the worn front end components before putting a lot of miles on this car. Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are a PennDOT issuing agent and able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyers PennDOT offers a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $45 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance. We can issue them at our office.
