My Dad and Mom recently moved from their farm in Iowa into independent living. Unfortunately, they cannot take their truck with them. They bought the truck in Arizona in 1972 when it had 10,000 miles on it. They used it in Arizona for casual driving and put approximately 175,000 miles on the original engine. The engine was replaced with a 350cu engine in about 2002 in Arizona by my brother in law. They moved to Iowa in 2003 and the truck has been driven very little. It shows 96,349 on the odometer (we think it has rolled over to 196,349), so we think the engine has about 21,000 miles on it. It starts, but does idle rough and needs a tune up. My Dad has kept the truck in his 6 car garage most of the time it was in Iowa and has no signs of rust in the body. He maintained it actively and has kept most of the parts and has a lot of additional parts included. He has the original 3 speed transmission that is included when he swapped out to automatic. We are looking for a good home for this truck to be enjoyed or restored. The truck has saddle gas tanks on each side of the truck. It was also switched from a 3 speed to an automatic transmission. (The 3 speed transmission and many other parts are included in the sale)
