Thanks for visiting our auction! Honda C70 Motorcycle This is a vintage 1980 Honda C70 Scooter. It is running and driving, and is actually a fun ride! It has a new 6 volt battery and has been gone through by my mechanic, with the gas tank flushed twice, new fuel line, and a bunch of minor electrical stuff done. While it looks similar to a Passport, it is not. It comes with a Connecticut Bill of Sale ONLY. The Good. It's a running, driving vintage Japanese motorcycle. It has a brand new 6 volt battery and new spark plug. Two of the turn signal lenses are brand new Honda parts, as well as the headlight. The paint is in decent shape, the seat is in great shape. It comes with an original key, a spare spark plug, an original Honda owner's manual, and what I believe to be the original took kit. Again, it's a great running bike. The Bad. The gas tank has been flushed twice (completely removed), but there is still some residual rust inside. The neutral switch, like all of them, is bad and has been bypassed. The electric start will still occasionally work, but it does kick over easily. There is a little bit of oil leakage where the kick start goes into the case. The taillight assembly is a little tweaked, so the whole unit sits a little bit on an angle, front to back. The original battery cover screw has gone missing so it presently has a correct size bolt in it's place. The headlight does not work and is missing one of the mounting screws. Not sure why it is not working as it is a brand new Honda bulb, and the resistance on the bulb checked out good (I got a little bit upset and decided not to put more energy into that). The foot guard (I guess that's what you would call it?) Has some staining on the bottom, rubs on the left front, and cracking which has been glued on the top mounting bolt region. The tires, I believe, are original and have some cracking. They're not real bad if you're planning on doing real short trips. The front luggage rack chrome is kind of poor. I am not really a bike rider. I have probably missed some things in the description. This bike was bought in a pile so I'm not overly-familiar with them.
