Thanks for visiting our auction! Honda Twinstar Motorcycle This is a vintage 1978 Honda CM185 Twinstar motorcycle. It is a running, driving street bike. It has been quickly gone through by my mechanic to get the carburetor running better. It would make a great parts bike or a base for a cafe racer project, or an easy restoration project. It is a very comfortable riding bike. It comes with a Connecticut Bill of Sale ONLY. The Good. It's a running, driving vintage Japanese motorcycle. It has a brand new Interstate 6 volt battery, and the gas tank is very clean. All of the bigger, hard stuff is there and usable. The motor is a bit cold-blooded but runs real well. It could really use some actual run time. The Bad. It's missing the right side cover. Some of the wiring was replaced with speaker wire. The left mirror mount has been broken off. The cross bar for the handle bars has been cut off. The ignition switch was replaced with a toggle switch. The headlight is mounted using electrical tape, and only the high beam works. The seat has a tear on the back of the driver's region and a line in the passenger region, both on the right side. There is a ding on the right side of the gas tank. The chrome and paint work has some rust spotting. The throttle cable sticks, and the brakes tend to stick. The shocks are leaking, and the tires are heavily cracked (most likely the original tires). The electric start is a bit weak but does work. I am not really a bike rider. I have probably missed some things in the description. This bike was bought just for myself to get a little more comfortable riding motorcycles for the transport side of my business. I welcome and encourage anyone to come and look at it before bidding.
