1968 Chevrolet K20 4x4. 1968 was the 50th anniversary of Chevy trucks, and to commemorate the anniversary a special paint/ interior code was offered in 1968. The rare part of this truck is that very few K20 trucks were offered, or purchased with the 551/ 625 codes. I am not sure of exact numbers but have read some articles where estimated build was less than a couple hundred. I purchased the truck a while back from private party here in Nevada. Truck has been in Northern Nevada most of its life and sat most of the last 7 years, and had very little rust. The passenger side rocker was replaced, but everything else was in great condition. The prior owner rebuilt the top end of motor. The transfer case and transmission have been resealed and work fine. The engine runs great, and does not smoke or burn oil. Everything works properly on truck. There are a lot of new parts on this truck, and a lot of money was spent on restore. New paint about 6 months old. New Interior was completed at same time. Since the cloth is unique to the Golden Anniversary 1968, and not available, I had to have a company actually weave the correct pattern and colors in cloth as I wanted the truck to restored correctly. Truck has new tires and wheels. Truck has 3" lift which is just enough to not get away from a nice stock look. New complete brake system (master cylinder, booster, drums, shoes). I really wanted to keep this in my collection but have decided to sell it and let someone else enjoy. I will be selling a couple more 4x4's from my collection in the future so please keep an eye out.
