27 T coupe all steel body with fiberglass fenders. This coupe has been in storage for over 26 yrs. My late father built this in the 1970's The T was taken out of storage last winter and the motor was pulled to replace intake gaskets, head gaskets, soft plugs, and water pump. The motor was then repainted before installation. The vehicle runs and lot drives but will need to be hauled by new owner if it sells my reasoning for this is the vehicle has set for over 26 years and should be gone through before you just take it for a joy ride of any distance. The motor is a 2 barrel 351 ford motor , transmission is also a ford automatic, front suspension and steering is manual not power from a mustang 2, the rear end is from a corvette with new calipers, and disc brakes all around. mag wheels are 5 lug The frame is hand made from heavy gauge steel to handle the torque and prevent twisting from the motor. Paint is in fair condition. Interior is also in good condition with no rips or tares. The chrome is in decent shape for its age There is a crack in the drivers window all the glass is shatter proof and has a tint to it. (tint is not a film on windows it is in the glass) The photos tell the story you are bidding on an older street rod / show car NOT a 2015 vehicle. so please don't expect one. This car was in the local world of wheels show where it took first place for best of show. (sorry you don't get the trophy) I will answer some question but will not entertain dozens of questions as to why you cant drive it home! I myself would not attempt to drive a car sitting for 26 years home right after it came out of storage its just common sense. This vehicle is being offered AS IS
