Up for auction is my BELOVED black 2004 Mazda RX8 touring coupe (sunroof/spoiler/accents). Cool suicide doors make it stand out very nicely. This car is a very low mileage (Less than 27k) and was very well cared for. Until very recently she purred like a kitten. Excellent driving center of gravity, pickup, speed and maneuverability. Excellent center of gravity - I loved taking corners in this car!!! Whenever a new problem came up, I fixed it (till now). Car has New Cat Converter, brakes all around, new more powerful starter, ignition coils/points and wires (higher end), some other things I can not remember (but cost $$), etc. Fast as a rocket and held level on tight turns. Recently though, the car WILL NOT START. Took to a mechanic and understand that an engine seal is blown, but am told is repairable. Sounds very labor intensive tho. In a nutshell, I just had a cervical spine operation (5/13) and it kills me but I won't be able to have it fixed. My (very) painful loss is your gain. You can either repair this very low mileage (non-starting) car or sell it as parts. My mechanic tells me that the parts for this car sell extremely well - i can attest to that first hand from the other side. Again, I have put in a lot of new parts into this car, as this was my weekend fun car, however I did not put a lot of mileage on it (as was also with the previous owner). Other things to know: Please look at the pictures closely but it may not adequately show that it does have the expected number of scratches, scrapes and a few dents. The Passenger door color is off a bit. This car was in a accident the year after it was born (Born 2004, accident 2005 - ergo the salvage title) but was very nicely/professionally repaired. I have been VERY happy with it since I bought it. Only issue I can see is that passenger side door needs slight adjustment. There are no other accidents since the first one 10 years ago. The two rear tires are worn and need replacement. The radio's CD player may/may not work. Sometimes does, sometimes does not. The radio and all its other features STILL WORKS like a champ. Sunroof works like a champ. Those REALLY COOL suicide doors work like a champ. I am putting a fair minimum buy on the vehicle - as a low mileage fixable car. Even as parts car, you can make a mint off this car. NOTE: PLEASE do not bid unless you can come up with the funds within a few days. NOTE: ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
