This amazing car is so fun to drive—especially when you get it out on the open road. It loves to move! This T-Bird has been owned by my family since 1965, and had only one prior owner. Body (Interior and exterior) is in good/excellent condition and is ready to be shown. We did a complete repaint in red, the original color. The interior was redone including carpet, door panels, seats and new aluminum trim. It has a 390 V8, 4-barrel carburetor, automatic transmission, power steering and power brakes. I had much of the interior trim re-chromed though there is still some pitting on dashboard and steering wheel. In the words of our local mechanic (who is a classic car enthusiast) "This is a solid old 'Bird." Transmission and slide away steering column need some TLC but it runs pretty well. Although I hate to part ways with this classic (My parents brought me home from maternity ward in it!) I just don't have the time or energy she deserves. All recent work/maintenance has been performed by reputable/local shop. Records available to serious buyers.
