The vehicle currently has 47,566 miles and was removed from service in April 2015 as part of our normal vehicle rotation cycle. The front tires have approximately 60% tread remaining and the rear tires have approximately 20-30% tread remaining. There have been multiple complaints about the plow raising slower than usual and the v-plow functions being slow to respond to the joystick controls. The exterior is in fair condition. There are diamond plate running boards installed. The truck also has rhino bed lining inside and on top of the utility bed. The front bumper has four (4) screw holes present & the finish is wearing/rusting on the driver side portion. The roof has four (4) sealed screwholes & one plugged and sealed hole present from where a warning light bar was previously installed. The roof also has one (1) antenna remaining. The top of the rear cab has four sealed screwholes & one plugged and sealed hole present from where a warning light was previously installed. The utility bed has twelve (12) hooks installed that could be removed. The utility bed finish has paint chipping in multiple locations and the rear bottom portion of the bed is rusting. There are several paint chips and scratches present on the driver door. There are also multiple scratches & dents present on the passenger door. The interior is in good condition. The vinyl bench seat is starting to crack on the driver side portion. There are two (2) small, rectangular cutouts present in the dash to the left of the radio from where warning light switches were previously installed. This vehicle was serviced on a 120-day preventive maintenance cycle. It was last serviced in Feb 2015, at 46,451 miles. Other repairs to this vehicle include the following. In Jun 2010, at 27,337 miles, the flasher assembly & left front marker light bulb were replaced. In Dec 2010, at 26,128 miles, the battery was replaced. In Feb 2010, at 25,623 miles, the passenger side plow bracket was replaced. In Apr 2009, at 22,487 miles, the driver side lower & upper ball joints were replaced. In Jan 2009, at 21,571 miles, the lift gate was repaired. In Oct 2008, the front brake pads, right side lower ball joint, right side upper ball joint & plow control board were replaced. In Oct 2007, at 15,781 miles, the battery was replaced. In Jun 2007, at 14,594 miles, the trailer plug was remounted & the license plate light bulb, license plate bracket, & third brake light bulb were replaced. In Feb 2007, at 13,127 miles, the plow blade bolts were replaced & tightened. Also in early Feb 2007, at 12,762 miles, the wiper blades were replaced. In Feb 2006, at 8,225 miles, the left rear light assembly was replaced. In Jan 2005, at 3,383 miles, the driver side headlight assembly wiring was reconnected. In Oct 2004, a hitch & trailer socket were installed. This vehicle can be viewed between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays, at the City of Champaign Public Works Department, 702 Edgebrook Drive, Champaign, Illinois. The vehicle must be picked up between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday at the same location. The City of Champaign is required to sell all vehicles through an auction process. We cannot accept “Buy It Now” offers or trades. High bidder is responsible for picking up the vehicle from Champaign, Illinois. High bidder is responsible for all shipping and transportation costs.
