1972 Mercedes Benz 350 SL Euro Grey Market 57k miles. This car was imported from Germany in late 80s and bumpers were converted. I have letter from Mercedes showing this was a non US version vehicle but 107043 vins are true euro market cars. With more research I do believe the miles are actual, I have bill of sale from 2000 showing miles. This car sat for 14 years after the second owner passed and his family kept it in and out of storage. The paint is not the original color and was not a great job. It has the 4.5 liter engine with no emissions restrictions on it, having owned several 107s this one is very fast almost as fast as my 560 SL! Transmission shifts great and is automatic 3 speed. Fuel pump, injectors and lines have been replaced. No leaks at all. Transmission flush and filter. Oil change mobile 1 only and only highest octane gas used. Brakes are a little soft and I was going to replace master cylinder but still drive able. Miles will go up a little bit because I love driving this car, nimble and quick. 80 mph is so smooth, it has new tires also. Handling and steering are very responsive. Unfortunately the family didn't store correctly and the not so great paint job is starting to show. Its a Mona Lisa for sure, I get thumbs up all the time. Right passenger front fender above lights, drivers side above lights and around badge is bubbling, not alot of rust though, solid car, none in the typical rocker panels or fender wells. No rust in floors but some rust in trunk from the hard top not being placed right. New antennae with great radio. Scratches and small chips behind bonnet when hard top is off. Hard top is nice though with great condition headliner. Soft top is original and has holes in it. No AC but heat works. Gauge cluster works, windshield wipers and washer work, knob for passenger fan missing, visors are there just need new clips, leather is original, tear in passenger seat and small tear in driver back. Pockets are missing. Glass is good all around, windshield was replaced. Carpet is great. Missing driver outside chrome escutcheon. Crack in dash. This just needs a few things but most of all a nice paint job would really make this a very nice car or you can use it as a cool weekend cruiser with top off! Email me for questions, clean title.
