2001 Jeep Cherokee Limited. LAST YEAR OF THIS MODEL! Rear wheel drive aka 2WD, 4.0 Liter straight six, automatic transmission Power windows, power door locks, keyless entry, intermittent wipers, rear wiper. COLD AC, Cruise Control, Rear window defroster, original tools & jack. Panasonic AM/FM/CD/MP3 with Aux input radio, 2 keys & one remote Fob.Interior is in great shape. 16 inch Goodyear Wrangler ST Tires on original factory alloys. Matching unused full size spare on alloy rim with cover. Recent maintenance includes water pump, radiator hoses, heater hoses, idler pulley, serpentine belt, anti-freeze and oil service. It didn’t overheat or anything like that, but hoses felt soft & better to be safe and do it all than to do it all over again. The battery was replaced last year as needed. The pictures of the door & body undersides are the original paint & have not been re-sprayed or repaired, that's something you don't typically see on Northern climate Jeeps! Last brake job a few years ago included new front rotors & premium pads. Since I have owned this Jeep I have also replaced/upgraded the tires, rear hatch struts, driver’s power window motor, rear power hatch actuator (which still acts up from time to time), all four shock absorbers (KYB Gas), front steering dampener, oil sending unit, vacuum hoses, rear speakers, and headliner (original color match). All were routine maintenance. Oil service done regularly every 3-4K with a fresh factory Mopar oil filter. Vehicle is well maintained & I have plenty of receipts for service & parts. Vehicle is detailed as needed because that's the way I take care of all my rides. Adult driven, no kids=no cherrioes or juice spills during my ownership & actual it was clean when I purchased it & I kept it that way. NJ Inspection is good until Oct 2016 & never had any issues passing inspection in the two time I had it done. I have personally owned this vehicle for several years and purchased it from a mom who needed a bigger vehicle due to twins on the way. She went to LSU and lived down there for a while so there is no rust or rot in the doors since it came from the south. No flood or hurricane damage either. Her dad was a mechanic so it has been well maintained for a long time when she moved back to New Jersey. He had the title in his name to keep the insurance down so that's why it shows 5 owners when really it was 3. Original paint is shiny and looks great from 10 feet but being a 14 year old vehicle it does have some dings and dents. The paint on the front end has some hard water spots but nothing too bad and the biggest dent is in the rear bumper which you can see in the pictures (right of license plate & down - not too bad but I wanted to mention it). I purchased it that way; it doesn’t rust so since it is my daily commuter, I decided it did not need any further attention. Drives great around town and on the highway and being rear wheel drive it gets 18mpg on regular gas. Never left me on the side of the road but time to cut down on the vehicles & let someone else have a great time with a classic Jeep. Inspections welcome - I'm in NJ Exit 8 off the Turnpike.
