Vehicle Detail
Absolute auction. No reserve 1974 Camaro Z28 4 speed. I bought this car about 6 months ago with the intentions of restoring it. I liked it because it was a 4 speed. I have other projects in line and it will be a long time before I can get to it so I have decided to let it go. The car will be pretty much a complete restoration. History I bought it from a fella who got the car as part of a home forclosure. He put the car up for sale. It had been sitting an unknown amout of time outdoors in North Carolina. The car had no title. I now have the car titled in my name. I used Florida Fast Title to get the title in my name. A great company. I recomend them. Body I bought the car out of North Carolina. For its age it is not too bad. It has rust, but it's southern rust. Not Ohio rust. The passenger fender had some repair work at the dog leg in the past. otherwise it's ok. The drivers fender looks real nice. Both doors are solid. The left rear quarter will need a patch behind the rear wheel, the passenger quarter looks good. the lips on both side are mint with no filler at all. The roof has surface rust, all window channels are solid. It will need floor work. The rockers and frame are excellent. Tail pan and trunk lid are excellent Interior Will need redone. Driveline Engine is a small block with a blank pad. It has some go-fast parts: Holley 700 DP, Torker intake, Hooker headers, Malory unilite, hyfire box and pro master coil. The heads are iron but have angled plugs, I think they are GM performance parts heads. The engine will fire over if you put gas down the carb. The trans is a super T10. from what I can ascertain by numbers, it's out of an early corvette. It rows through the gears fine. I have no way to road test it. The rear is a 8.5 ten bolt. I have no idea if it is posi. the code is for a 3.42 posi. Other stuff I have keys. The pontiac wheels stay with me, I have othe rollers for it. What you see is what you get. Will need trailered or towed away. contact with questions. No trades or "what's you bottom line" TV-type offers. Practice your deal making skills elsewhere.
