1993 Ford Taurus SHO with factory high output 3.2 liter V6 engine; automatic transmission; power brakes with anti-lock; power steering; power driver's seat, windows and door locks; cast aluminum wheels; rear deck-lid spoiler; tilt steering wheel; air conditioning; tinted glass; dual power mirrors; cruise control; front and rear stabilizer bars; nitrogen gas shocks; and rear-window defroster; etc. Bought by 2nd-owner in 1994 from Ford employee executive (1st owner) with 8,000 miles. 2nd owner had car from 1994 to April 2015 (21 years). I purchased the car from 2nd owner in April 2015 with 53,xxx original miles. Car has been garaged and covered since at least 1994. The car runs and drives excellent. Maintenance history is documented including: major tune up approx. 500 miles ago (plugs, wires, belts, radiator hoses, coolant, oil/filter valve cover gasket); new battery 3/15; Michelin tires have approximately 10k miles on them; Transmission fluid done around 33k miles. All (3) factory recalls completed as follows: 1) Fuel tank with new fuel pump at 25k miles; 2) Starter replaced at 38k miles; 3) Cruise control switch at 45k miles. Upgrades to the car include: Front brake pads and rotors; K&N air filter; Borla cat-back stainless steel performance exhaust ($1,800 new installed). Clean title; current registration (Dec 2015); recently passed smog certificate in California (4/27/2015). California car with no rust and never driven in the rain.
