Vehicle Detail
1963 Plymouth Valiant Convertible with a V8 engine All original number matching car with 65,000 actual milesThis is a V8 model- very rareIt's completely original and as it came from the factoryEasy restoration Ugly now but can be a nice carCar has been sitting in a garage since 1973. Has rust in the rear quarters but just the sheet metal from sittingThe floors, trunk floor and entire frame underneath are entirely rust free and originalThere's a small dent near gas filler hole and one on nose of car Missing apron under front bumper and needs a grill (you can see someone cut turn signals into grill , they belong in apron)Rust free engine compartment / shock tower areasOriginal paint and no prior body work or putty on this car I had gas tank professionally cleaned and relined - it's not installedCurrently runs on a gallon bottle (of sorts)New starter, coil, points, plugs and wires Starts right up and runs, idles smoothly, drives, shifts through all gears and stops (more less) with hand brake Original 270 V8 engine Interior is completeBack seat and all door panels and panels around back seat and roof well are niceFront seat needs to be recoveredDash is very niceI think the carpet is even still goodAll gauges work, lights all work, heat, wipers, horn all working Title included and provided upon full payment and pick up of car All glass is good, doors open and close nicely and fit wellWindows roll up and down well Roof frame is very good but needs new materialThere's a boot that covers top when down and a matching red liner inside the well where roof is stored - this is all original and can be cleaned up easilyNice thing is the top is only about 600 bucks Original wheels, spare and hubcaps Easy restoration New rear quarter on drive side can be welded in with seam under the chrome strip. Other side can be repairedThere's some rust on passenger door a line about 4 inches long and it's just the outside metalSome other surface rust on rear quarters but rockers and front fenders are good. Cover front seat and get a new top and go over the brakes and the majority is done It's a good solid, original car and worth the effort Please buy only if you are sure you want it will pay for it and come get it300 deposit due at end of auction and full payment due within 10 days or reasonable pick up timingEmail any questions prior to buying Thank you
