1968 MUSTANG GT CONVERTIBLE 390 S CODE 4SPD VERY RARE You are bidding on a rare 1968 convertible GT 390 S: four-speed mustang project less than 400 produced 'PLEASE SEE PICS BELOW"This rare mustang original matching Motor drivetrain matching numbers transmission and rear end correct. The car is not running but does turn over. It was running last year has been off the road since 1985 stored in a garage. Original Pennsylvania car. The motor is matching numbers and all original carburetor intake etc. exhaust manifolds are no longer there it has headers now. Original distributor original intake manifold and I have a redone original air cleaner included in the sale please see pics below. Gas tank was removed. original Paint color is Acapulco blue paint code D great color All the body panels are original however the hood is rusted could be fixed but I do have an original 1968 turn signal hood that's in mint condition included in the sale. "please see pics below" Also the trunk lid is rusted I also have an original 1968 primed ready to be painted mint condition trunk lid included in the sale. "Please see pics below" The frame rails shock towers torque boxes are very great condition no rust at all anywhere. The Front floors seem to have been patched older restoration work. Not a bad job can definitely tell that the front floors were fixed. The rear floors and underneath the backseat is all original and in wonderful condition. The trunk area is excellent no rust anywhere besides the lower drop-down quarters. The fenders and doors are excellent no rust anywhere the lower quarter panels has rust need to be replaced please see pics below upper quarter panels are in excellent condition. The top is not original but in excellent condition interior is original and in great shape besides the driver seat. Steering wheel is original could use some reconditioning. Door panels are in great shape and original Dash pad is wonderful condition. all the gauges seem to be there not sure if they're working or not. The car came equipped with a factory center console that I have that's in great condition please see pics below. Also included in sale. pump For the power top is still in car. All the extra parts that are shown in pictures are included in sale it comes with carpet kit extra door panels a.m. 8 track radio grill bezels rear taillights and rear panels for the backseat air cleaner hood and trunk lid.
