For sale is a 2000 Chevy Tahoe Z71 edition in great condition. I bought this from a dealer in August, 2014. My hope was to purchase it for a very good friend who I was trying to help turn his life around. He chose to take a different path in life so I am now selling. It has been sitting for nine months hardly driven at all. I have driven it approximately 200 miles in that duration. I mostly drove to work and to the store occassionally. I just received the title in hand and it is clear and clean free of any accidents. I just replaced the battery and had a balance done last week. It seems to drive just fine. I also took out a one year powertrain extended warrantee when I purchased that I believe can be transferred to a new owner for $50. It expires July 20 of this year. I purchased just as a precaution even though it seems to drive great both the engine and transmission. I also have had it detailed recently to show just how good of shape it is. With the exception of a tear in the driver seat the interior is in very good to excellent condition. The headliner is in excellent condition as is the leather and there are no cracks to the dash. I would give the interior a 9 out of 10. The exterior has normal light scratches and a few nicks here and there...but nothing major. I would give the exterior a 7.5 to 8 out of 10. The only real issue is that the hood had oxidation. The detailer buffed and sanded it down and it looks 100% better, but he was afraid to go any deeper because of the clearcoat. I did not want him to take any chances. He coated it with three layers of wax to preserve it. So if you want the hood to be in mint condition you will probably want to do a little bit more work on it. But it looks a LOT better and I'm very picky. The rear hatch handle is also a bit off kilter...but works. See pic. It may be a simple fix though. I recently ran a Carfax and it is totally clear. I am the fifth owner though the first two owners had a lease on it and was short-lived. So even though there have been several owners it is less than average mileage per year. Since this was a gift for a friend I am not familiar with all of the cars bells and whistles. It does come with an owners manual. I will provide you a copy of Carfax as well. The one thing I do know is that this is the most powerful and most desirable engine. It comes with premium wheels and a mean looking black bumper guard and tinted windows. It also has a tow package. The teal green is stunning...especially when the sun hits it a certain way. The A/C seems to work well though it hasn't hit triple digits yet. The tires are in pretty good shape. It really is in overall great condition...especially for a fifteen year old vehicle. Buyers will be responsible for shipping though I would work with you to arrange that. You may also come see in person near downtown Sacramento if you choose. I would like to sell this as soon as possible. Consider my feedback rating and you can also have a limited 30 day warranty for peace of mind. I don't think you will be disappointed. It is a heck of a vehicle for the price.
