The vehicle currently had 61,154 miles and was removed from service in March 2015 as part of our normal vehicle rotation cycle. The tires have approximately 50 - 60% tread remaining. The exterior is in poor condition. The plow paint is faded with the frame rusted, but it is in usable condition. The entire chassis has surface rust present from heavy use during snow removal operations. The hood has a slight dent at the front, with the paint cracked towards the driver side front edge. The front bumper has multiple paint chips present. The F-250 fender emblems at faded. The driver door has a couple of minor dings. There is one plugged & sealed hole on the roof of the truck from where an antenna was previously installed. The service body is rusting through the lower portion of the doors and underneath in multiple areas. The doors are hard to open with the hinges rusting & in disrepair. The passenger side center compartment has had to be screwed shut. The passenger side front compartment is unable to be opened. The rear bumper is dented & rusted. The interior is in fair condition. There are 2 rubber/vinyl floor mats present. There are two screw holes & indentations at the front center edge and rear center edge of the headliner from where warning lights were previously installed. The driver seat bottom is worn with multiple tears. There is one large hole in the dash to the right side of the steering column from where a gauge was previously installed. The dash center storage compartment will not shut close. This vehicle was serviced on a 120-day preventive maintenance cycle. It was last serviced in Nov 2014 at 57,386 miles. Other repairs to this vehicle include the following. In Apr 2015, at 61,140 miles, the cylinder #5 spark plug was replaced. In Jan 2015, at 59,387 miles, the trip cylinder shock absorber on the plow was replaced & a new lower mounting bracket was fabricated. In Dec 2014, at 57,868 miles, the rear brake pads, rotors, calipers, & parking brake assemblies were replaced. In early Dec 2014, at 57,675 miles, the starter was replaced. In July 2014, at 56,270 miles, the right side outer tie rod end and the battery were replaced. Also, the truck had an alignment performed. In April 2014, at 55,527 miles, the spark plugs & fuel tank vapor canister were replaced. In Jan 2014, at 52,557 miles, the right side plow angle cylinder hose was replaced & the hydraulic reservoir refilled. In Dec 2013, at 51,880 miles, the plow hydraulic hose was replaced. In Oct 2013, at 50,641 miles, several hitch pins were replaced. In July 2013, at 49,826 miles, one tail light assembly was replaced. In May 2013, at 49,600 miles, the wiper blades & left rear marker light assembly was replaced. In Dec 2012, at 46,645 miles, the hood latch cable was replaced. In mid-Dec 2012, at 46,525 miles, the right rear amber strobe light was replaced. In Apr 2012, at 43,093 miles, the front brake pads, front brake rotors, rear brake pads, & rear brake rotors were replaced. Also in Apr 2012, one tire was repaired. In Oct 2011, at 40,374 miles, the plow markers, plow light fuse, & bulbs were replaced. In July 2011, at 38,669 miles, the rear brake pads & rear brake rotors were replaced. In Feb 2011, the left rear brake light assembly was replaced. In Nov 2010, at 35,092 miles, the right front brakes were checked out & all four tires were replaced. In Aug 2010, at 33,924 miles, the tool box latches were replaced. In July 2010, at 33,652 miles, the right front strobe and the rear wiring to the rear strobe & corner marker lights were replaced. In Feb 2010, at 31,632 miles, the belt tensioner was replaced. In early Feb 2010, both wiper blades were replaced. In Dec 2009, at 30,644 miles, the plow blade was replaced. In Nov 2009, at 30,270 miles, the rear brake pads were replaced. In Dec 2008, at 25,991 miles, the battery & front brake pads were replaced. In Aug 2008, at 24,272 miles, the license plate light was replaced. In July 2008, at 23,829 miles, the front tires & lower rear marker light bulbs were replaced. In Nov 2007, at 18,814 miles, the right rear tire was repaired. In Feb 2007, at 13,676 miles, the plow lock pin stand was repaired. In Apr 2006, at 6,212 miles, the fuse for the turn signal & brake lights was replaced. In Dec 2005, at 4,500 miles, the left rear marker light was replaced. This vehicle can be viewed between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays, at the City of Champaign Public Works Department, 702 Edgebrook Drive, Champaign, Illinois. The vehicle must be picked up between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday at the same location. The City of Champaign is required to sell all vehicles through an auction process. We cannot accept “Buy It Now” offers or trades. High bidder is responsible for picking up the vehicle from Champaign, Illinois. High bidder is responsible for all shipping and transportation costs.
