For sale is a 1998 Honda CBR 660cc F3 sport bike. The battery and fuel pump are brand new. Front tire has less than 1000 miles on it. I have owned this bike for six years. There are a few scrapes here and there - obviously a previous owner dropped it. I have never laid it down. One side cover has an end piece broken but it can be glued. The bike has been sitting too long and is very difficult to start. I have traced it to a fuel problem. The carbs are very likely gummed up. I am trying gum-out and avoiding carb removal, but I may have to take apart and clean. If I get the bike to start smoothly, the price will increase. Bike rides awesome. I have had it to 125 mph - and it corners as you would expect of a sport bike. Red helmet to match bike is included. I will supply more photos if desired. Can deliver - distance and cost negotiable. On May-07-15 at 12:07:18 PDT, seller added the following information: More updates: The broken part on the side cover has been repaired. The seat, tank and air cleaner are removed; this can be seen in the latest pics. The last pic shows the four carb air intakes. The bike starts if starter fluid is sprayed into the intakes. Again, a sure sign the ignition is fine and the fuel flow is plugged inside the carbs. I will leave the parts removed so the successful bidder can see and hear the bike run this way.
