First off before I get 100's of emails, the 36 Rolls is 70% complete, if you do not see it in the pictures I do not have it period, so please DO NOT ASK! So here we go another excellent find, that we just pulled out of local garage after a 30 year slumber. A very rare 1936 Rolls Royce Phantom III V12 Limo Chassis number 3-AX-81 ! The engine turns by hand and is NOT FROZE! BUT SHE DOES NOT RUN! She is a major project, that's 70% complete with a good metal Frame! So a re body into a Custom or Henley/Brewster style speedster would be a good way to go! Of course as usual there's NO RESERVE, so bid strong and bid often and she will be in your next project! I did a little research on the Rolls Royce PIII, approximately 710 cars were built from 36-39, only 201 were AX cars, mine being number 81. Its probably a Hooper bodied car? It still has the English tag of 312 HYP. The rest is a real mystery as this Rolls has just simply disappeared off the Rolls Royce circuit, I can not find any record of her anywhere, so any information would be greatly received and posted to the bottom of this page as the auction proceeds! Stephens.
