Vehicle Detail

I've decided it's time for my Buick to be loved by a new owner. This 1969 Buick Electra 225 Custom Convertible is a rare, beautiful example of a late 60s time machine. Although I don't know the complete history of the car, I can tell it was well loved and cared for it's entire life. I was told when I purchased the car, it was previously owned by a retired Doctor who lived in Florida. It was a Florida car all it's life until I purchased and had it shipped here to me in Kentucky. The odometer reads 58,600 +/- a few miles and may change some this week. Florida titles are exempt for mileage purposes on a vehicle this old. My clean clear Kentucky title shows it as actual. This car has had one known repaint several years ago. The paint is very nice although it does have a few slight chips in it. Nothing bad and certainly nothing to worry about. The Convertible top is newer also with a glass rear window. The top goes up and down smoothly and completely with a touch of the button on the dash. The convertible top boot is brand new, and matches well. I put it on for the 1st time for the pictures. The carpeting is newer as well. The 430 engine starts and runs well. The transmission shifts smoothly and correctly. All lights , dash lights, radio, 8-track player, power windows, factory air conditioning work as they should. The seats are clean, no rips and original. Dash has no cracks. All 4 tires are like new Kumhos, and are straight and true. There is a full size spare, (Michelin) in the trunk with all original jack parts there too. Start the car with recently installed new battery, and drive it anywhere, and take 5 other people with you! The car goes down the road smooth and drives great, considering it is a land yacht from the 60s. The car is not a museum piece, but it is a very nice car. I have the factory provided owners manual, along with other manuals, sales brochures, etc. I have 2 complete sets of hub caps for it, and they will both be included in the sale. I also have a full cover which will come with it. It is always stored in a garage while covered. Inspections and viewing of the car is welcome by appointment as I work during the week. Email for any further questions, and serious inquiries will get my phone number to make things easier. I reserve the right to end the listing at anytime if the car is no longer available. I can assist with shipping most anywhere. I do have a friend "in the business" and can probably arrange shipping very reasonable or fly in and I'll pick you up. As stated, this car is a very nice running, driving example, although keep in mind that it is 46 years old. It is sold with no warranty.
