My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than more dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2000 Mercedes-Benz S500 sedan finished in very desirable black on black. As a Mercedes enthusiast myself, this specific example checks nearly everything off the list that I'd want in a used Merc. First, it is a one owner car from new that was just traded on a brand new Mercedes-Benz! I would rate the exterior of this S500 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. Pride in ownership shows in this car. You tend to take better care of something when you're the one who paid nearly $100,000 for it new. The black finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older car, please don't expect it to be perfect...or new. However, this car is one of the better W220's I've come across. The worst I can say about the exterior is that there is some normal peppering on the nose from highway driving. There are virtually no scratches on the exterior that tend to be present in many older black cars. The body lines are straight as an arrow. The moldings are all present and intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with good tread all around. All of the glass and lenses are intact. There is a small crack on the bottom right corner of the windshield. It is completely out of the field of vision and should not be an inspection issue but please check your local laws as I cannot know every state's inspection laws. All of the parking sensors are intact and working properly. The xenon HID headlights shine brightly and light up the road perfectly. The soft close doors all close properly, too. Please take the time to check out each of the photos to see how clean this Mercedes looks. I would also rate the interior of this Mercedes-Benz to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age. Again, pride in ownership shows throughout every inch of this sedan. The door cards are clean and tight. The interior wood veneers show well and are all intact. The dash and headliner show as new. The indicators for the Parktronic parking assist are all working properly. The leather is soft, supple and still smells new. The seats show well throughout the cabin and are extremely comfortable. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The power windows, seats, mirrors, sunroof and central locks all work properly. The power rear shade raises and lowers smoothly with no issues. The carpets are clean and full looking. A full set of factory carpet floor mats are included as well as a full set of factory rubber mats! A full set of books and manuals are also included for the next owner. The trunk is spacious and clean. The audio system is original and sounds good. There are steering wheel controls for station/track and volume as well as the rear shade. The climate control system is fully automatic and also appears to be working properly. It offers independent temperature controls for both the driver and passenger. The heater works as it should and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. Mechanically, this S500 appears to be in good running and driving condition. I've personally put the last 1,000+ miles on this Mercedes with absolutely no issues. The 5.0L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent, just like you'd expect from an S Class Mercedes. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. The suspension stays up and works properly with no error messages. The steering and brakes also feel excellent. The powerful V8 feels strong and accellerates this full sized luxury sedan swiftly. The engine keeps perfect temperature and runs well. There have been no idiot lights or fault messages present. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. Again, this is one of the nicest W220's I've ever had. If I didn't already have an S55 AMG, I would keep this for myself. In fact, this S500 is nicer than my S55 in nearly every measurable way...except it's not an S55, haha. This S500 has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of July, 2015. If you've been looking at buying a well cared for W220, this one deserves your consideration. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than more dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2000 Mercedes-Benz S500 sedan finished in very desirable black on black. As a Mercedes enthusiast myself, this specific example checks nearly everything off the list that I'd want in a used Merc. First, it is a one owner car from new that was just traded on a brand new Mercedes-Benz! I would rate the exterior of this S500 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. Pride in ownership shows in this car. You tend to take better care of something when you're the one who paid nearly $100,000 for it new. The black finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older car, please don't expect it to be perfect...or new. However, this car is one of the better W220's I've come across. The worst I can say about the exterior is that there is some normal peppering on the nose from highway driving. There are virtually no scratches on the exterior that tend to be present in many older black cars. The body lines are straight as an arrow. The moldings are all present and intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with good tread all around. All of the glass and lenses are intact. There is a small crack on the bottom right corner of the windshield. It is completely out of the field of vision and should not be an inspection issue but please check your local laws as I cannot know every state's inspection laws. All of the parking sensors are intact and working properly. The xenon HID headlights shine brightly and light up the road perfectly. The soft close doors all close properly, too. Please take the time to check out each of the photos to see how clean this Mercedes looks.
I would also rate the interior of this Mercedes-Benz to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age. Again, pride in ownership shows throughout every inch of this sedan. The door cards are clean and tight. The interior wood veneers show well and are all intact. The dash and headliner show as new. The indicators for the Parktronic parking assist are all working properly. The leather is soft, supple and still smells new. The seats show well throughout the cabin and are extremely comfortable. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The power windows, seats, mirrors, sunroof and central locks all work properly. The power rear shade raises and lowers smoothly with no issues. The carpets are clean and full looking. A full set of factory carpet floor mats are included as well as a full set of factory rubber mats! A full set of books and manuals are also included for the next owner. The trunk is spacious and clean. The audio system is original and sounds good. There are steering wheel controls for station/track and volume as well as the rear shade. The climate control system is fully automatic and also appears to be working properly. It offers independent temperature controls for both the driver and passenger. The heater works as it should and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too.
Mechanically, this S500 appears to be in good running and driving condition. I've personally put the last 1,000+ miles on this Mercedes with absolutely no issues. The 5.0L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent, just like you'd expect from an S Class Mercedes. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. The suspension stays up and works properly with no error messages. The steering and brakes also feel excellent. The powerful V8 feels strong and accellerates this full sized luxury sedan swiftly. The engine keeps perfect temperature and runs well. There have been no idiot lights or fault messages present. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. Again, this is one of the nicest W220's I've ever had. If I didn't already have an S55 AMG, I would keep this for myself. In fact, this S500 is nicer than my S55 in nearly every measurable way...except it's not an S55, haha. This S500 has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of July, 2015. Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are a PennDOT issuing agent and able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyers PennDOT offers a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $45 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance. We can issue them at our office.
