Up for sale is a 1999 Subaru Forester S AWD Automatic with AWP (Heated Seats, Mirrors and Windshield). This is a WELL maintained vehicle and has had the following RECENT work done: a) BOTH rear wheel bearings b) 4 Wheel Brake Job on 4/2/2015 c) NEW CATALYTIC Converter, O2 sensors and Knock Sensor d) Air, Fuel Filters and Plugs e) New Rear CV drive axles f) Good tires The engine in this car is from a 2006 Forester. It had 26,000 miles on it when we installed it and it now has approximately 77,000 miles on it. The ORIGINAL engine suffered headgasket failure at 88,000 miles. The radiator was replaced at that time. The newer 2.5 Liter engines (2005 on) have a more robust headgasket so this problem should not recur. This car runs well and has PLENTY of life left in it. The body is RUST FREE but will need paint soon. It is passable for now but it is chipping. The interior is in very good shape.
