Vehicle Detail

You are looking at a 1975 Porsche 914 2.0. The mechanicals are in excellent condition. The body is very good, and essentially rust free, except for some VERY MINOR bubbles from things such as rock nicks. Paint is in good, but not perfect condition. Interior is very nice, really only needing some repair on the plastic part of the driver's side window winder handle cover. The car was originally green, but was repainted well in black some time ago by the previous owner. The car still retains its original Bosch L-Jetronic fuel injection. The radio is an period upgraded Blaupunkt with cassette, and is working well. The car has a current Virginia safety inspection. What appears to be a rip in the passenger seat cover is actually a fold. The odometer lists just over 87K miles, and the title says that this is actual mileage. Before I bought the car about a year and a half ago, it had been owned by the same family for about 20 years, and it was only driven intermittently. The car has been extensively serviced, and has many new parts installed. These include: 4 new tires (the hard-to-get factory sized 165 R15)Rebuilt rear brake calipers New Hawk Performance HPS front brake pads (NOT ceramic pads, so they are excellent for daily driving) New rear brake pads New spark plug wiresNew spark plugs New air filterOil and filter change (with Castrol GTX 20W-50) New shifter bushings (front and rear)New fuel filterNew ignition pointsNew wheel capsNew lug bolt coversWheels were repainted with silver wheel paintNew "targa roof supports"Valves adjustedBrake fluid changed This car is in excellent shape, and can undoubtedly be driven home. It is hard to find 914s this original and rust-free! On Apr-05-15 at 11:55:18 PDT, seller added the following information: *****THERE IS A MISTAKE IN THE DESCRIPTION. THE BUILD PLATE CLEARLY STATES THAT THE ORIGINAL COLOR IS L 041 BLACK******
