Hello. I have contemplated selling my little F-150 for awhile now and couldn't make up my mind about letting it go until just recently, so here it is. It is a 1996 Ford F-150 XLT, 1/2 ton 4x4, regular cab, long wide bed pickup truck that has never seen a snowy roadway in it's life. It is up from southern Alabama and it is rust free. It has just a bit over 69,000 miles on it. It is a 302 efi-v-8 with the 4R70e automatic transmission. It is fully loaded up to include electronic push button 4x4 transfer case, dual fuel tanks, power windows, power exterior mirrors and power locks, cruise control, cold a/c, good heat and a super nice, well installed, excellent, Kenwood stereo system. Everything works very well in this truck with no issues. The body, as stated is 100% rust free. I have had it up on a lift and have looked it over deep inside the body cavities with lighting and the inside of the bed fender wells over the rear tires are as clean inside, as they are outside. The body is straight and very clean as you can tell from the pictures. The paint finish is very nice and this is one truck that looks just as good in person as it does right now. It had a few tiny, very small scratches around on it, here and there, and I had them touched up. They were not too noticeable as they were, but I wanted it right. The inside of the bed is in excellent condition. The doors are tight with absolutely no hinge wear. I get a lot, and I mean a lot, of compliments on it everywhere I go in it. I am very proud of it. The inside of the cab, and the interior, look really nice as well. The seat looks new, actually and it sits up nice and firm. The power lumber works. The dash looks great. The headliner is brand new. All of the instruments work well. The truck still has a little bit of that new truck smell in it. It is, and has been, a non-smoker vehicle since new. Mechanically, the truck cannot, I feel, be any better. It is 100% reliable. I have driven it out on the interstate between Alabama, Tennessee and Kentucky many times and it really sits up there and cruises well. You could drive this truck around the world :) You may have noticed that it has a nice stance. I have installed a set of the 1 and 1/2" leveling springs, front and back, to give it a better look and cure that F-150 nose dive issue. I like these 150's to sit up and be sharp. The truck was special ordered from the factory with a tow package. It is pre-wired for a trailer. It has dual front shocks, front and rear sway bars, and a trailer hitch. I just installed (6) new high dollar Monroe shocks on it. It has near new brakes on the front. It was just serviced with a lube job, fluid top off and a new front end alignment. It has (4) near new tires. This truck has never failed me and it is always ready to roll. It is 100% reliable and it is in good condition. Overall, and in all things considered, I think it is as good as any 1996 available for sale, anywhere. With all this being said, I want you too understand that this truck is certainly not new......it is 19 years old! It has been used, but not abused by any means. The original owner kept it garaged. I saw this personally. It will more than likely have some small imperfections that I may have missed, but it is a good one for sure. Thank all of you for your many question's and kind comments. They are surely appreciated. I have had several requests for pictures of the interior. For some reason those pictures didn't post on here and I evidently didn't catch that when I started the auction. The door panels are in nice condition, as is the carpet, dash and the headliner is brand new. I will try to post them here again this afternoon. Several question's concerning the raised stance. The lift in the truck is a very non-aggressive, tasteful, 1 and 1/2" front spring change out coupled with a rear single add-a-leaf on each side. I think that it makes for a super sharp stance and makes these F-150's look great, plus it will add a bit to your carrying and towing capacity.
