This is the Toughest, Roughest Suburban money could buy in 1985, it is the 3/4 Ton plus an upgrade that included bigger brakes and HD suspension, some other things I forgot, Maybe the 425 Trans? do your own research to confirm. This truck will cruise 75 MPH on Cruise control with that trailer and a 5,000 Pound Pontiac jammed in the back I installed a New Distributor, all new Rubber on the engine, Hoses belts, all those little Vacuum hoses, fuel lines, all the Rubber, I rebuilt the Carburetor and changed the fuel pump, I put new lower ball joints in it which it didn't need and then the front brakes which It did (should have done the brakes first) We put new Flow-master 60's and new tail pipes on it $570 and we put $1,000 worth of tires and wheels on it, (NOT INCLUDED EXCEPT BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT) Please consider them optional, if not, U will receive the truck with other Tires, nothing special, but holding air. Ask if U want photos, they won't be that bad I installed all new Trailer wiring and fixed up pre existing electric brakes, I wired in a charging circuit to charge the trailer battery and I found the 2nd battery box, I had it powder-coated but did not install it, U may have it too, not pictured.. This has a gigantic trailer hitch on it, insert and ball not included, Trailer not included, see photo of the Hitch. There is no cancerous rust of any kind, some surface rust spots scattered here and there, and on one door sill. The Bad: Drivers window is off the track, needs help up and down The AC Clutch, Defective and gone, I greased the compressor so it wouldn't rust The door panel is missing off the tail gate, I had to make some repairs to the rear window motor, the access panels remain open the the switch loose in the dash, the window works well Despite all of the Rebuilds to the fuel system, the truck has given me occasional fits with what I can only surmise as a vapor lock issue when the weather is hot, flawless performance is not guaranteed, Having said that, the Truck seems to have good compression, Runs on all 8 cylinders, lifters all pump up. There are some miscellaneous small dings and dents on the body That is all I can think of for now, if U can think of something to ask or want more photos, please ask, I stand ready to help After listing this, I clicked on the eBay provided history report and I note some Lazy dealer or some such reported 300,000 miles plus, My feeling is, whoever did this did not get off his butt and go look at the truck, this truck clearly has the 140,000 miles on it reported by myself, maybe it doesn't mater so much, but it made me mad, so here I am, this is a nice clean un-rusted body, good and tight, no sloppy broken stuff here, no dents in the under carriage, no nothing bad, I considered puting a diesel in it as the body and miles are clearly original, a headliner and front seat covers would make it very presentable, We have 4 Trucks and will sell 2 of them, I Just have too many, the other offering is a '72 Long Box GMC pick-up, ask if U like The reserve is very reasonable, this needs to go away On Mar-12-15 at 09:02:36 PDT, seller added the following information: Please no "0" Feedback bidders without permission It is my feeling if U want to buy this truck on eBay, it is NOT the first thing U bought, either use your real eBay or contact me for permission to bid All future "0" Feedback bids will be removed without notice.
