Vehicle Detail
1966 2A Land Rover Defender with independent suspension (all for wheels) and a front wheel drive V6, Automatic transmission, Drilled slotted rotors, Ceramic pads, Carbon fiber gauges, Aluminum gas tank. The side windows are zip up with clear boat poly for durability. Too many things to list. Let me know if you have any questions. I ran out of picture space. Email me for images of the engine area. It hauls butt. Front wheel drive and stops on a nickle. It has remote control CD stereo with 4 speakers and a sub. Sounds great. The doner car I used was a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am GT (not supercharged). Has the Aluminum engine cradle bolted right onto the Land Rover original frame. I had the heads taken off and completely done by a machine shop. I will ship it in the US. I'm not sure but it costs about 700-800 to ship. Obviously that is an extra cost. Or you can come and load it on trailer or drive off in it. I require a $500 non refundable deposit via Pay Pal within 24 hours of end of auction. I also reserve the right to end/cancel all bids as I'm selling locally too.On Mar-01-15 at 12:52:26 PST, seller added the following information: The engine is beautiful wish you could see it. Those that have emailed me received the pictures of the engine. Like new. The only things I would do is have a custom aluminum hood, tailgate, and front/rear bumpers made all out of aluminum. They are currently the original galvanized steel. The fenders and bed are aluminum. This thing is very light. The front and rear bumpers are steel. I have over 30K in my baby. I bought all original and decided to take it all apart. The original engine was too slow for me and the original suspension was poor too. It is much better now and only needs a new owners personal tweaks. I would put nicer new bucket seats in too.
