I am reluctantly selling my 65 Mustang which is a great daily driver. The car was a nut and bolt restoration about 7 years ago, it has the original 289 and 3 speed manual transmission. The car runs and sounds great, it started out as a pretty solid car before restoration, both lower rear quarters where replaced, front floor pans replaced, minor repairs in the rear floors, battery tray replaced and both trunk drop offs replaced. The frame rails (front back) are very solid, rockers are solid...The entire car is solid. It was taken down to bare metal, dinomat in the floors, all new wiring front to back, aluminum radiator, petronix billet aluminum distributor, ceramic coated tri y headers, h-pipes, gt cluster, wood steering wheel, console, new carpet , headliner, seat covers and American Racing torque thrust wheels with good rubber. The car needs to be repainted due to age of paint job. The car can be enjoyed as is or with minimum effort could be a nice car to show, fun car to drive. I put about 22,000 miles on the car since the restoration, I have driven it on multiple cross country trips with no problems. I have a folder full of receipts and photos of it through the restoration process. All of the metal work done was but welded and ground down to look like a solid piece of metal on the floors, so if you are looking at it from the bottom side, it just looks like original floors. It is painted like a gt with the gt options , but it is not an original gt car. The original color of the car was Gunsmoke grey with red interior. You can view the car by appointment only, it is located in Chelsea, Alabama and I will deliver the car for a prearranged fee by myself. The car is sold as a used car as is where is and a nonrefundable $500 deposit is due within 24 hours of auction end.
