2011 Volvo c70 T5 Hardtop Convertible, Turbocharged 2.5L, Flawless exterior, very, very, low miles. Fun in the summer, Warm in the winter, non smoker, very classy car. Original sticker price $43,650 dollars.Car was purchased in California after it was hit in the front end. NO mechanical damage was done. The vehicle needed front fenders, bumper, headlights, hood,and airbags. It was done by a very experienced PROFESSIONAL body man using only OEM original parts. In California they have (TLF) Total Loss Formula, instead of most states, which have a % of 50%, 60% or 70% to consider the vehicle salvage. Because the vehicle was purchased in California, the cost of repair for parts & labor was $20,000. Salvage value was $20,500. Total of those came to $40,500, and the book on it then was $39,000 dollars, so the vehicle was totaled. The car had only 2,476 miles on it when it was hit so it had a high salvage value.
