Nav, Keyless-Go, Bi-Xenon, Service Records162,000 Miles, Automatic Transmission with Diesel 3.0 Liter 208 HP (388 lb-ft torque) V6 Engine. Indium Silver Exterior Paint with Ash (light grey) MB Tex Interior. Southern car that has spent its entire life in Tennessee. I’m the second owner. I purchased the car through the Mercedes Certified Pre-Owned program with 29,000 miles near the end of 2009. The car is very nice inside and out. It looks better than most cars with less than half the mileage as you can see from the photos below (we take good care of our cars). There are a few rock chips and scratches as expected for a vehicle of this age and mileage. The Floor Mats still look great, trunk is as new (custom fit rubberized trunk mat included). Particular items for your attention (see the photo’s below) include a small black spot on the passenger side seat, a crack along the rear upper bumper cover and staining on the rear seatbelts. NO accidents – all original paint. I have an Elcometer paint meter (brand most used by car dealers) which proves that no panels have been repainted (all panel readings consistent). Will show you readings in person when you pick-up if you like. Equipment/Options/SafetyThis car has the Premium II Package which is hard to find. Most E-classes have the Premium I package which is missing Keyless-Go, Cornering Lights and Bi-Xenon headlights. The Premium II Package this car was ordered with includes Navigation (DVD based), Bi-Xenon Active Light System, Keyless-Go (push button start & enter the locked car by merely lifting door handle), Heated Seats, Power Rear Window Sunshade, Cornering Lamps, SIRIUS Satellite Radio, and Headlamp Washing System. Other options include the Panoramic Sunroof (huge sunroof over both front and rear passengers) and Electronic Trunk Closer (trunk opens/closes with push of a button). It also has the dealer installed MB Bluetooth interface to allow wireless integration of a Bluetooth capable cell phone. The car has Mercedes 17 inch wheels (same as used on the gasoline E-classes for 2007) that the previous owner must have upgraded. The Bluetec sedans came standard with 16 inch wheels in 2007. Standard equipment includes 10-way Power Seats with 3-Position memory, Harman/Kardon LOGIC7 Surround Sound System with 6 disc in-dash CD changer, Burl Walnut Trim, and electrically adjustable tilt and telescoping steering wheel. Of course it has all of the common power accessories like windows and cruise control. Safety equipment includes multi-stage front air bags, front and rear side air bags, head protection airbag, Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and Anti-lock (ABS) brakes.Maintenance & RepairsAll maintenance records available from my ownership. Fluids changed on a regular basis including brake fluid, coolant, transmission fluid and even the power steering (PS) fluid has been flushed (no MB service recommendation for PS fluid replacement) and of course engine oil.These MB automatic transmissions require frequent oil and filter changes to achieve good service life. It’s important to know the service life of these cars if you want maximum longevity. Front brake pads replaced at 136,000 miles (previously the pads were replaced at 53,000 miles so still 70% pad life left based on prior use). Rear brake pads and rotors replaced at 150,000 miles. Servo motor that controls flaps in the intake manifold was replaced at 125,000 miles. The oil cooler seals were replaced at 155,000 miles. Both of these items are common failure points for this Bluetec engine and are very expensive repairs. The in-dash single CD player does not always function properly (no issues with the separate 6 disc in-dash player). The Keyless-Go (lift the handle from any of the 4 doors with key in close proximity to unlock the car) does not function for the passenger side front door. Keyless-Go functions properly on the other 3 doors. These are the only two issues with the car. Neither are commonly used items and not worth the cost to fix (at least to me).Fuel filter, air filter and cooling flush last performed at 150,000 miles.Tires were last replaced at 125,000 miles.Terms/Refundable Deposit I will assist with shipping if needed (shipping is at buyer's expense) and I will drop the car off at the mechanic of your choice if you wish to get a professional inspection before pick-up. I’m amazed by the number of cars selling on EBAY that don’t refund your deposit if you don’t want the car after inspection. I am confident that if you examine the car (personally or professionally) you will find the description above accurate. However, the $500 deposit is fully refundable if you are not satisfied with the car for any reason after inspection. Once you pay for the car, whether in-person or prior to shipment, the sale is final. The car is sold as-is with no warranty. No reserve, final bid at or above minimum bid owns the car.
