This has been my daily driver for almost 10 years. This is the rare 40th anniversary package and very had to come buy in this color. The condition of this truck is exceptional for its age. The paint still looks close to new with the exception of a few small blemishes expected from daily use. Man where do I start? If you are looking for an exceptional fj80 this is it. It has not been passed from dealer to dealer and it shows. I have truly babied this truck for 10 years. It has been meticulously maintained in every way. I am obsessed with landcruisers and I spent a longtime and passed up dozens of trucks before I found this diamond. I have always used either royal purple or mobil 1 synthetic oil replaced every 5k miles with a wix filter. This truck drives like a new one and u could set a glass on the engine it is so smooth. I set out to make this an expedition vehicle but found it was just too nice to take off road . It has a 5 inch old man emu suspension with a castor correction kit from man- a fre off road. Truck has minimal body roll and drives and handles great for a truck of this size. I put an Arb bumper up front with a Warn 16.5 winch with IPF lights. springs are heavy duty up front to accommodate for the weight of this massive winch and bumper. Tires are new BFG all terrains 325/75/16. Rear bumper is a Kaymar with tire rack and jerry can swing outs. Awesome heavy duty bumper. This truck does NOT have locking differentials. I installed the factory switch and had plans to do an arb set up but just never got around to it. The spare tire on back bumper is not included in the sale of this truck. It goes on another truck. I used it for reference only. I just spent over 3k on new parts and maintainence including new head and head gasket work , new distributor, wires , and rotor. All new sensors and a new optima yellow top battery. Replaced radiator with new. Truck has a heavy duty mean green starter also. replaced intake hose going from throttle body to air cleaner housing also. Expensive!! Truck is ready to drive anywhere with no worries. Ok now the issues. the tint in my opinion needs replaced and the carpets could use a good cleaning. Drivers seat shows a little wear but not bad from getting in and out as well as passenger side. This being said there are no tears or rips in seats. Speaker grill fell off on driver side rear but I still have it. Basically just small stuff. This truck is an awesome example of an 80 series and would make a happy new owner!!! God bless .
