NO RESERVE! Up for your consideration is my 1984 bj42. Manufacturing of the fj40 stopped in the U.S. in 1983. Canada was fortunate enough to receive one more year of production. According to some there were less than 140 produced and even fewer have been accounted for. Any and all modifications to this truck were done by the previous owner 15 plus years ago. This includes paint, which still shines like new with the exception of a few dings and scratches that have accumulated over the years. The original color of the truck was red. This vehicle has been well maintained and stored indoors all of its U.S. life. This truck has the 3b diesel engine that fires right up and runs strong. The transmission is the h55 five speed that shifts flawlessly and makes no noise. The transfer case works as it should in all ranges. Brand new kumho 31" tires. Left hand drive, power steering and a/c that will freeze you out. 8000 lb winch. The frame is solid as it was in 1984 and has no rust. The brakes are 75% and work as they should. This bj42 drives straight down the road with no shakes, shimmys, weird noises or anything that would not make it a reliable every day driver. I bought this truck to take my kids camping in and I have found it to not have the space that we need without pulling a trailer.
