The 924 carrera gt always ticked all the boxes for me. Very limited production numbers (406 made), fast, well balanced, and holy of holies, homologated for Le Mans, where it acquitted itself rather well...look at the weight/hp, and see how well this car stacked up against other porsches well into the 90's....with 911's going for what they go for these days, a car this rare, with racing history is a relative bargain..1985 911 3.2 Carrera 231hp 1,210kg 5.21995 968 Club Sport 240hp 1,320kg 5.51981 924 Carrera GT 210hp 1,180kg 5.61985 944 Turbo 220hp 1,280kg 5.8I spent a very long time looking for the perfect (ish) car...until i found this one...two owners from new, very very clean, no dings/scratches, no speakers drilled into the door cards, full history including import documents, going back to 80's (including a bottom end engine rebuild in 2000), all books, tools, two sets of keys. It's a lovely, honest, well preserved car. Mechanically, car is in excellent shape-no leaks, and it's surprisingly fast (when you're on boost!)Flaws: There's a porsche 935 boost gauge mounted on the dash-it's worth a grand or so on it's own, but i don't think it came from the factory like that-also, there's an inch long split along the driver's side bolster seam, and finally, i think it needs a new fuel sending unit, because the needle jumps and the light comes on intermintantly, even when the tank is full..also, the exhaust is not originalMechanically, car is in excellent shape, interior and exterior also excellent-no dings or scratches that i can see-wheels also in very good condition-tires are new, but i have the original tires that came with the car, if someone wants themfor some reason, ebay won't allow me to enter the VIN-it's : WPOZZZ937BN700150if you're looking for an excellent and unmolested example of a very rare porsche, then this is the carfeel free to ask questions..thanks
