Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on one of the rarest 1969 Z28s ever built. This is a factory Tuxedo Black Z28, STRIPE DELETE, RED DELUXE INTERIOR. I have included areas of the car that retain its original black paint. The double dash on the Trim Tag is for DELETE STRIPES order. As you can see this car is a roller that needs a complete restoration including metalwork, but the color combo makes it worth it in spades, BLACK/RED, NO STRIPES what a stunner it will be. It retains its original BU 3.73 rearend. All the Z28 specific clues are included here in pics including the dual exhaust reinforcement, single 3/8 fuel line, long drag link, etc. Some very well-known "Z28 certification" gurus have seen pictures of this car and say the indicators are all there and factory correct for Z28. I have many owner titles, one going back to 1972. Title is clear. I have the NCRS original dealer document on the car but it only shows Dealer Zone number and not the actual dealer name. Los Angeles built car, Feb. 69 so no X-codes. Car is currently in New Hampshire. This Z came out of Washington state and, supposedly, the original M22 transmission (yes, M22) is still in play around Warren, Oregon. I have a number for a gentleman who says he may know where it is. The 302 is long gone. This one is worth bringing back folks. Bid to win. If you don't have the money, don't have an understanding wife or just want to bid it up to see what my reserve is, please keep moving - nothing for you to see here. Thank You. On 27-Jan-15 at 09:09:38 EST, seller added the following information: HIDDEN PARTIAL VIN BEHIND HEATER BOX IS PRESENT, EBAY WILL NOT LET ME ADD THE PIC.On 28-Jan-15 at 14:43:31 EST, seller added the following information: This is a small block car and it's got the Muncie speedo cable hole in the firewall on driver's side of the tunnel so that means it was Muncie equipped (see Camaro Research Group info) which limits it to SS350 or Z28 only. It also has a dual exhaust plate welded to the frame rail on the driver's side from the factory, also indication of SS or Z28 - the only models with dual exhaust. Finally it has a single 3/8 fuel line (with no return line) running down the sub-frame to the back of the tank that looks like it has been there since new - only solid lifter cars got that - Z28 302, L78 396/375 COPO 427....an SS350 with hydraulic lifters would have had a return line....so from all this, me and people who know even more about this stuff than I do have said this is a Z28. Thank You.
