This Jetta has a great body, but will need engine and suspension work. It was running when I bought it but it has sat for a while and will need work before being roadworthy. When it was running, it was rough. I believe the catalytic converter is clogged since a bunch of black smoke would blow out the back when it started up. The car would run and idle fine when first started, but would start running rough after a few minutes. It has a new battery, spark plugs, wires, distributor cap rotor and alternator, along with new belts. It will need to be timed before trying to start it. Does have a minor oil pan leak. Will need new rear door cards. Trunk leaks and the front seat needs new padding, but has good fabric. Interior is in decent shape, no rips or tears. 181,000 miles, automatic transmission, power windows. Unsure if tape player works. I had plans to bring this back to life, but I don't have space to work on it. If you love these old MKII Jettas, this is a great one to bring back to life!
