Up for sale is a 1987 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coup. This is a very straight body with only a small area where it needs some attention, (an easily popped out dent). All the glass is good, and the minus the dash the interior is in very good shape as well. the dash just has a few cracks in it, but that is very common for cars of this age. I bought this car as a package deal. I bought a 1988 Thunderbird Turbo Coup that is identicle. The car im selling, was the car the previous owner wanted to make into a special hotrod. He had taken the engine down, and had started rebuilding it, and had ordered a special rear end for the car. On his way to go pick up the new rear end he was killed in a traffic accident. They had just put on the timing chain when he left. the rear end was never paid for so i had to put a rear end out of a mustang in it. the front cover for the engine is missing and the rear taillights are missing. Who ever buys the car i will get you in touch with the guys that have all the parts you will ever need to build this car however you would like. Right now its a roller, and the engine needs to be finished. All the parts are there just needs to be assembled. The car has not sat for all that long, if i had the time and money and the space, i would just finish the car myself. This car is an opportunity to build that ultimate 87-88 style thunderbird you have always wanted. you can strip it down and make a race car, or you can build it stock, or make a street sleeper. There are endless possibilities with a car like this. the main part about this car is that its a rust free body.
