Have a 1990 Dodge Diesel for sale. Truck was purchased off of the family of the original owner who passed away. It was a grandpa truck. never towed trailers, never hauled heavy loads in the bed and never had a plow on it. The truck wore a topper its whole life and I still have it if the new owner wants it. IT IS CURRENTLY PENNSYLVANIA INSPECTED UNTIL JANUARY Here are the specs: 5.9L Cummins 6BT diesel engine 238k miles. Low miles for a Cummins diesel. Had a dealer oil change sticker on windshield when I got it. 727 Torqueflite HD automatic transmission (shifts and drives flawlessly0 Dana 61 4500# front axle 3.07:1 Ratio gearing Has dependable Warn Lockout Hubs Dana 70U full floating rear axle with 3.07:1 Ratio gearing NP205 Transfer case has Hi and Lo range 4wd and a 2wd range Nearly NEW high quality Michelin 265-75/R16 M+S tires. M+S means tire meats the required specifications for winter driving LE package. This includes: chrome grille, bright body trim, stainless tailgate trim, deluxe rear bumper headliner, chrome exhaust tip and other bells and whistles. Now, this truck has the ORIGINAL PAINT AND CLEAR COAT. Not peeling and not sun burnt. The color is Champagne gold. Original paint is nearly unheard of on these late 80s-90s dodges due to the peeling issues they had. It also has ORIGINAL HUBCAPS!!! All lights work. Truck has had the front rotors resurfaced and cleaned, new Wagner Thermo-Quiet OE Spec pads, cleaned and repacked front wheel bearings, new front wheel seals, new power steering pump and rebuilt vacuum pump assembly. Power steering system was also flushed and refilled with the proper ATF+4 fluid. It appears the brake booster and master cylinder were replaced within the last couple years. Original owner's family also said it had the head redone on it. Appears to have newer valve cover gaskets In the engine bay, you will see it is very clean. No, it is not sprayed with tire shine like some screwballs do, that is the original factory look. Not one wire has been hacked on this truck. Original wiring is all intact! Has original battery cables also. Retractable hood light still works! Injection pump still has all of the tamper proof caps meaning it is still a stock tune. Original exhaust system and hangers intact. I replaced two clamps that failed, that is it. No cracks or rot. Body & Interior: Body has rust. That is the only reason it is not being sold for more. It may sound like a lot at first but for a North-East truck, it is not bad and the panels needing replaced are not a big job. I can assist in finding/replacing damaged panels after sale. The rust is evident on drivers bed side, both doors, rockers, left fender and some roof rust. Right side of bed is absolutely perfect and right fender is nice enough to keep. Inside of the bed has no dents. Never hauled anything. Hood is flawless. Tailgate is super clean, Interior is all original. I removed & re-glued the sagging headliner. The coolest part about the interior is the Dealer installed ORIGINAL DODGE RAM floor mats. Seat is nearly perfect besides one cigarette burn. Interior doesn't smell like smoke and ash tray is clean as a whistle so I'm not sure how or why it is there. Plastic trim is nice all around. Dash is perfect with no extra holes drilled in it. Original carpet, nice 4wd shifter boot and all gauges seem to function. Glass is clean and clear. As far as chassis, the frame has surface rust on the back half but the front half is super clean with original paint and markings showing in many places. Frame has no rot or scaling on it or as I say, "barnacles". Spring mounts are sound, cab mounts are sound and Everything is pretty clean. Steering is tight and 4wd works well. I think that pretty much wraps up everything I know about this truck. The only bad parts about this truck are body rust and the AC does not work (have not investigated and all hoses and condenser appear to be in good shape). Price is very reasonable considering the truck's condition for its age. These trucks will last forever. No computers, no emissions junk added on and simple to service. It is how a truck should be and one of the best trucks Dodge ever built. They are incredible in 4wd in poor winter conditions. The heavy diesel engine ensures good traction. Truck will get 18-20mpg all day long! New diesel trucks do not even get that kind of MPG. Truck is still for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early if in fact the truck sells.
